Now if she had said “The standards of judgment must be rooted in the whys and wherefores of life as it is lived, the world as it is, not our wished-for fantasy of the world as it should be.” THAT would be plagiarism, because she would have apparently lifted the entire sentence, including structure and order from Alinsky.

Melania's speech, on the other hand lifted whole segments of Michelle Obama's speech near verbatim. These are not comparable.

The rest of you "Hillary does it too" bits seem to be her taking similar talking points to other people, again not ripping off whole sections of speeches verbatim.
