Many collect firearms. I have different guns in different calibers for different uses. Not a hard concept to grasp.

Why do you have more then one knife? Or Fork? Or pen? Or paint brushes?

I would not claim otherwise, but the point remains, everyone may support something, but that doesn't mean the organization itself wants their support. Look at the KKK supporting Trump and the GOP for example.

One cannot dictate who supports who, that's out of your hands as a large entity. Condemnation is really the only means available to them (as BLM has done plenty of times when others call for violence in their name)

We do not have mass shootings all the time, so violence for us usually involves stabbing. Why put stabbed in quotation marks?



You are readily willing to believe the reports of people trying to blame the police for it, but completely disbelieve the reports claiming otherwise.

That area is one of the most heavily policed in the country, there are many government buildings and other high profile sites such as the US Embassy within a few hundred metres.

And there are no police forces with water cannons in the Britain, they are banned, Boris even bought some and got publicly humiliated by then Home Secretary Theresa May for wasting money.


Edit: Britain not UK, they use them in Ulster, which came up when Boris bought his.

Neither does the US. They have magically severely increased in the last 8 years though.

I think he means just 1 gun. If you own 8+ guns it is probably because you are a gun collector even if you are only a amateur. Moist others that own guns only own 1 for self-defense because typically the police are called after a crime has happened and in home invasion situations minutes can feel more like hours but if you have a gun you can protect yourself and your family until the police do arrive. They call the gun the "great equalizer" for a reason so if a womans house gets invaded by an intruder or intruders she having a gun while give her an equal chance for survival because it doesn't matter how big and strong you are...a bullet will still kill your ass. I love it when Europeans and other make fun of the US for guns but we can say that we have never started any world wars and our government couldn't just turn on us with troops and tanks because we are well armed too. Guns save more lives then they take every year- it just isn't news worthy you actually have to go and look.

You may NEED one if you live in a not so safe neighborhood. You may need one because you never know if your house could be subject to a home invasion and it is better to be armed and able to defend yourself then not be armed and get murdered and robbed.

Completely agree with you that one cannot control what other people support and that it doesn't mean that BLM, as an organization, endorses these people.

However, BLM has no document one must fill in and sign and wait until they get accepted into it or not. And if these people gladly pledge their support to the cause (some, sadly, via less savory means than others), it's because they were inspired by and look up to BLM ideology - and then took it a step too far; But are supporters nonetheless.

And I do not think that simply dismissing it as "Not real BLM supporters" isn't doing the trick anymore. As to what is the real solution? I do not know.

All in all though, they are BLM supporters; Endorsed by the organization, or not.
