Question about Roll The Bones usage.

So I am a current rogue main, (Have been for years) but am making the switch to Demon Hunter. Because of this, I have only been playing Demon Hunter on beta, so haven't gotten to mess around with rogue.
For the next few weeks, my guild picked up raiding again for pre patch and I am playing rogue, until DH goes live. I was messing around with the specs, and find I really like Outlaw. Played it last night for raid, and I was actually doing really good damage. Link to logs below.

I know assas and sub should be better for single target, but I am finding if RNG is on my side, I destroy everyone else.
So the question is, what is the right way to use Roll the bones? The way I have been doing it is basically rerolling if I get single buffs, and saving AR for good combos, like crit, cd reduction, attack speed. And obviously trying to get the perfect 6. Is it right to keep rolling if you only get one buff?
The only thing I'm sure of is that you would reroll if you have energy regen during AR. (I think)
    All help is appreciated!

A large part of the "rolling strategy" seems to come down to the synergy between the True Bearing buff and Adrenaline Rush.

True Bearing reduces the CD of AR and other skills. So whenever you see AR getting of cooldown, you're trying to get True Bearing before you pop AR again. Still, there are obviously situations in which rerolling like that wouldn't make sense, e.g. AR is getting ready but you're currently on all the other five buffs except for True Bearing. In that case you'd either delay AR and wait for the five buffs to end, then reroll for True Bearing, or you'd simply pop AR without True Bearing but benefiting from the other five buffs. Can't really tell what's more effective.

You can find some great info on Roll the Bones stuff right here:

Keep in mind there can be cases where fishing for TB can take several rerolls, in which case you would be better off using those CPs for finishers. In practice I think sometimes it's better not to be greedy and not reroll 2 decent buffs, even if they aren't TB. I would definitely reroll single SIW or TGM in most cases I reckon.

    I reroll if i get:

    Single proc:
    Grand Melee
True Bearing - If i have MfD or AR up i will take advantage of each ability as much as possible during a single proc true bearing, else i re-roll.

The only real complaint i have is the combo point waste during broadside and esp during broadside+jolly roger, basically, ruthlessness+pistol shot is 4cp and then you've got 3cp SS...i just SS and piss away the spare, it does mean finishers galore atleast

Its been serving me well so far, and as unusual as it sounds, i'm doing better as outlaw than assassination, Sub i've not had a good chance to break out and kick ass on though. Ill see next week.

The all rerolling thing is very very weird... I wonder if some real simcrafting work was done on it, also, we have to keep in mind that it's even more costly to reroll now than it will be in legion as if you have BHTV RT becomes a really strong finisher.... it can be costly to reroll if you land on somthing bad for quick AoE or burst phase. Some buff are probably more valuable than other depending on the situation like ST vs 2-3 target cleave vs pure AoE... this shit is a theorycrafter nightmare. I have to say it's fun when you see 3 good buffs or even 6 buffs !

TB without something else does seem very lackluster... but I wonder if it's that bad you should reroll.

Cp gen during true bearing and grand melee is just too slow without AR, MfD or another RtB buff with it. Shark infested waters single proc makes up for the low cp gen with the Crit.

I've kept, and re-rolled solo-TB. Just depends on where the fight is at really.
Kept it when feast was approaching on gorefiend and I wanted AR for it
