“Listen, three eyes,” he said, “don’t you try to outweird me, I get stranger things than you free with my breakfast cereal.”
I bought it right when pre order became availible.
Preordered long time ago.
Buying it? Yes, at least for Digital Deluxe stuff to other games.
As for playing it? Might try at some point, but most likely won't stay long.
I'll be honest and say I'm not sure what others are using. (One is a researcher who was running off a pc that he was using when he was studying in Antarctica last year and refuses to use up over 50gigs for a game, although he had no probs with using up the 33-35 gigs the game used up earlier)
But most are far more tech savvy than I and for them it's about allocating resources that they see as a waste. (Although as a group, they were more ambivalent about any money issues...buncha nerds...gotta love 'em)
Yes. The box is almost always worth it. To keep paying them money though, that is something I doubt they will manage again.
I am really confused, why does the "no" category have people on it. I mean, if I was not interested in a product and did not want to buy it, I would not be hanging on the forums of said product. Why are you people here ? I am curious. Like I have no intentions of buying the next call of duty and frequenting their forums is just not a thing for me.

Wait, harddrive space is one of the cheapest thing you can have as a "ressource" a 2 TB harddrive goes for like 70$ in Canada so basically 40$ in the US. How can you complain about a 50gig game and not play it because it is 50 gig. That is mind boggling. Like I would understand if they significantly changed the engine and people needed to buy a top of the line graphics card not wanting to invest the 500+$ on it. But not being able to find 20 gig of extra space ? Just delete an other game ... Put some of that porn on a usb stick. Wtf ....
I'm not sure, if I buy myself a gaming PC, I'll surely buy Legion.
yes but after release, after the server issues and cluttering on mobs, so i can just do my thing
I did awhile ago then refunded and now I'm on the fence. Them putting CRZ in Orgrimmar and Stormwind was a serious concern for me, I'm worried that with all this phasing crap they keep pushing they might try and force CRZ down our throats by enabling it on the broken isles, since Blizzard refuse to confirm or deny I'll hold back on purchasing legion until I know.
I value what little is left of my realm's community I don't want to see it finally go down the shitter.
lol, a person with as many level 100 toons as you are definitely going to be playing legion. Don't try to act like you aren't.

so wait a second, you won't buy legion because there is no flight at the beginning, but yet you will buy it and sub once its put back in? You will have to do all the pre-requirements to getting flight activated even when it is put in.. lol.. the pro-flight logic at its best.
not sure prolly no
Nope not buying.
I thought they learned some lessons from WoD but nope...
I am this close to dropping $200 dollar lifetime subs to other games. They have less than 30 days to convince me to be honest.
allready bought it... much as i'd like something else to play nothing really can compete with WoW. at this time only world of starcraft would suffice for me cuz sci-fi.
And they did?
WoD had 2 shortcomings, to heavy emphasis on garrison and no real patch content besides HFC :P
Legion from the get go has more content than WoD ever had, it will have a 4 patch cycle with 3 raid tiers and they are commited to a 2 year expansion.
The classes feel more polished than ever and the people claiming ability prune really needs a reality check in how many abilities actually were relevant.
Professions got a new focus, the story is once again with a iconic villain and a redeemed one that fans are familiar with.
Flying has a great compromise in that you first explore on the ground and then you can earn flight to skip it once you've done it.
I'm sorry, but Legion is not even comparable to WoD, it is miles better. And the best the game has ever been in regards to the variety of content availble.
Story and gameplay can be discussed as I personally more favored Wrath/MoP, but I still feel Legion is a solid step in the right direction after WoD.
There are a lot of different angles to it, and I won't go into the full details because that's more what the "No Flying in 7.0" thread is about. But for some people it's a QoL issue. For others it's the realization that too much time is spent on useless repetitive travel to reach objectives. For still others it's the pure enjoyment of the feeling of freedom it gives.
As for exploration, flight really only ruins the ground aspect of it in areas of the open world that aren't indoors. That's not as big of an issue as many people seem to think. A LOT of the world is inside instances, or caves, or buildings. And what about the potential for exploration in the sky that isn't possible because you can't fly? Floating islands, impossible cliffs, airships, things like that?
And there's been a pretty good movement towards the idea of equalizing ground and air mounts so that it's a real choice, and people who want to experience ground exploration can have that without feeling like they're suffering a self-imposed handicap.
But ultimately I personally just wish Blizzard would grow a pair and make a decision instead of playing games and being vague and waffling back and forth. Using flight as a carrot and then misleading people is the worst way they could handle it in Legion, and it's the biggest mistake they made about it in WoD. Just don't want to see a repeat. Right now it looks like either Blizzard learned the wrong lessons from WoD, or didn't learn anything at all. And that's just not a good sign, and doesn't instill confidence.
So....a lot of people like me are waiting to see what happens before dropping the cash on Legion.
