Qualidea Code 03 - This episode was pretty good. Much better than last episode.
I really don't understand Japan's obsession with this strange "alien enemy that come in waves" trope though. It's so common with these LN adaptions. They always have this stupid name (like "Unknowns"), look generic as hell, and attack on schedule. From this season alone you see this type of stuff in Qualidea Code, HxH, and Ange Vierge.
If I had to guess it was popularized by NGE and Angels. But the interesting aspect of Angels was how they were so strange and unique, and capable of intense destruction. You were naturally curious about what the fuck those things are. All the imitations seem to ignore this and just make their "bad guys" generic mooks that look like they'd fit in some bullet hell game. It's such a lazy way out of creating conflict.

Taboo Tattoo 3 - Show started interesting enough and the action scenes are still good, but god the MC is terrible. That's pretty par for the course in these types of shows. Izzy is great, though. I'll give it another episode or two. I'm predicting this to be a "Hemo drops it before the first episode is over" show.
Illya 3 - This show stepped on the gas and hasn't let up yet. Pleasantly surprised so far.
Not sure that's the same thing. There's a difference between a known enemy that sends his mooks every episode to battle the heroes, and the enemy with unexplainable origins that destroyed most of civilization and the remnants have to fight it back.
They're both monster of the week format, but there's a clear difference. The shows I used as examples from this season share more similarities with the NGE type (strange creatures with no apparent leader, survivors isolated in a single location, etc).
Sunshine 4 - Ruby is too cute for this world. TOO CUTE.
Seeing muse in all the pictures makes me WAY TOO HAPPY.
Watching this gets me too excited and I have to keep pausing the video.
This show is too good. The thing I wait for the most each week.

Besto VA.
The boy and the beast (Bakemono no ko): I love how teenage angst edgelords are everything wrong with the world.
Great movie, not a single boring or jarring moment. Mr edgelord at the end was really annoying but rest I really have nothing to complain about. Maybe a little about Kaede since the fact that she's cool with Ren growing up in a fucking world of beasts came a bit out of nowhere. Nitpicking but gotta have something better to say than "Yea, it was good". Animation was great, soundtrack didn't really strike me as spectacular but I can't complain either. Kinda neutral about it.
9/10
OMG ITS FINALLY HERE

Sunshine - paused episode to write this before I forgot: Seems sunshine is set a minimum of 3ish years after original project?: Dia + Ruby used to play as idols copying muse while Dia was still in middle school, and the current time is her third year in high school. Bit weird to have muse shown as "second love live winners" when a third one happened months later, and I'm sure at least 3 more happened in those 3 years...And there's a 5th year of love live edition book near the end with maru
Bit hilarious that the two "like" the 2 muse members that they're closest to in personalities
ZURAMARU ADVENT
My god chika super jumping the gun
And my god those subs for their lesson schedule is horrible....I understand it'd be hard to fit them in but really not even trying to make the circle
Maru showing off some best girl on that stair well
I just feel like ruby is more a mascot character...funny sounds make up 80% of her character.
My god maru is like a rin I can enjoy since nya's feel much more forced...like shiny
