Notice how the people that get caught using drugs, also more often than not are on equal terms with the rest of the people there?
Pro tip from armchair warrior - It's not because nature just happen to make the others super mutants from natures side, it's because they are using as well .

He isn't 100% wrong. How many times do we hear about someone getting theirs medals taken away a few years after they competed because of doping?

He is. are you saying that every single athlete in every sport is pissing hot? Do you seriously believe that? a high precentage maybe, maybe not. but its just not right to accuse every athlete out there of doping. In fact, its slanderous.

If your so convinced, back up your statement with numbers. How many people have had their medals taken away in comparison to how many have not pissed hot and kept their legit medal?

If you read my post, you would see me write "at the highest level". But sure, people that win against people that use drugs got help from God, right?

You don't think its at all possible that some people just might be more skilled?

Last I checked Brazil has an army aswell.. I don't think they will be too happy with a Russian invasion, especially not on such retarded grounds as " they banned us from the olympics! "

More skilled, sure. Which is why you always see someone win.
But they can't be a little more skilled, and clean, and still win. Because the one using drugs would be so far ahead.
After all, the Olympics are about pushing your body to the extremes.

    That doesn't make sense though.

Or.. well.. yeah.. You do know that they didn't actually prove yet that they doped so much. It's mostly one person saying that to avoid jail-time.
Because that's how our society works: If you have something on Russia, no matter if you make it up, you get a free pass to riches and freedom.

Not that any of it matters, seeing as the Daily Mail apparently knows that Russia will get banned even when they are going to have that meeting later today to decide this.
Yea, I like how ''everyone does it'' yet only the russians do it in such an all-encompassing state-sponsored way.

Also no, the people who volunteered this information wernt doing so to avoid jailtime, they came out before anyone caught them.

nice job trying to spin though

It deppends on what TV channel you're whatching and what radio station are listening. This is how things work nowadays.

Do we speak about doping, or in general? Every country's athletes use doping, it's just the way modern Olympic games work. It's a question of who tries to catch whom and what power those people have internationally. The US has ultimate power nowadays ofcourse. The same goes for rule-breaking in general: the one who has ultimate powers over others will set the rules THEY need. The others can choose between doing what they have been told all the time, or taking their own way. Russia tried doing what it had been told in the 90's. What it has led to? Stepping on all Russia's interests in Europe including Czechoslovakia, Ukraine and NATO missile defence system (which is in fact offensive), getting into Russia's election process with feeding it's anti-goverment opposition, making them spit poison on all Russia's great hisrtory and people.

You live in a West-centric world guys, but it's not the only way. Nor is the best one.

    Cool story, Kremlin-bot

Its very presumptuous to imply you know the sorts of things you say.

    Compare it to gaming.
Even the best teams in CS:GO would still lose to a team full of aim botters, right?
Sure, the best team is more skilled, but at the end of the day the ones cheating will be better.

Well it didn't take long for the "but others dun it too" defence to pop up.

Russia not given blanket Games ban by IOC

    http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/olympics/36878983

Russia will not receive a blanket ban from Rio 2016 following the country's doping scandal.

The International Olympic Committee (IOC) will leave it up to individual sports' governing bodies to decide if Russian competitors are clean and should be allowed to take part.

The decision follows a report in which Canadian law professor Richard McLaren said Russia operated a state-sponsored doping programme from 2011 to 2015.

The Rio Games start on 5 August.

Competitors from Russia who want to take part in the Games will have to meet strict criteria laid down by the IOC.

Any Russian athlete who has served a doping ban will not be eligible for next month's Olympics.
