We've been giving the rest of the world a free ride for too long at the expense of our own well being. We've spent our own money, blood and power for things with little benefit to us. It's time that we either make then cough up their share or end their participation in the effort and they can fend for themselves. Bite the hand that feeds and you'll find yourself out in the dark alone.
Canada should be less worried about Donald Trump and more worried about all the Muslim men who are living on Canadian Welfare, and use that money to fly to Middle Eastern countries and marry child brides, and bring them back to Canada where the Canadian Tax Payer pays for a pedophile to torture, rape and assault his child bride.

NATO was the reason USSR didn't take Europe. It was in the USA's best interest that Europe didn't fall (completely) to communism. It was in Western Europe best interest to resist communism. That's why NATO was created and that US didn't have to do it all alone. And that's why it created similar alliances all over the world. So stop your yankee jingoism.

Well, you see, there is this thing called immigration. He was saying he was Iranian, he was wrong. The Canadian Minister of National Defence, Harjit Sajjan, is Sikh and guess where he was born? The answer is there.

Churchill, who had long warned against Germany and demanded rearmament, became prime minister after Chamberlain's policy of appeasement had totally collapsed and Britain was unable to reverse the German invasion of Norway in April 1940. After the fall of France in June 1940, Roosevelt gave Britain and (after June 1941) the Soviet Union all aid short of war.
