Yea, you're right. We love picking up the rest of the worlds slack in nearly every department. We're thrilled to have less money to spend on our own citizens instead of having to babysit everyone else because they refuse to do it themselves.

We've been giving the rest of the world a free ride for too long at the expense of our own well being. We've spent our own money, blood and power for things with little benefit to us. It's time that we either make then cough up their share or end their participation in the effort and they can fend for themselves. NATO was the reason USSR didn't take Europe. It was in the USA's best interest that Europe didn't fall (completely) to communism. It was in Western Europe best interest to resist communism. NATO was the reason USSR didn't take Europe. It was in the USA's best interest that Europe didn't fall (completely) to communism. It was in Western Europe best interest to resist communism.
