Muslims are not going to rule over Europe, they can barely even control the countries they have, which is part of the problem.

I don't think their goal is to rule Europe. I mean honestly what does one really get there anymore beside tourist destinations and people that need government to float their lives. The goal is more likely to just create a stream of steady slaughter and fear with no real political reason or military objective. Hell at this point it doesn't even take an organization like ISIS anymore. They are already there, segregated, and hated enough to fuel themselves for generations to come if the tap was completely cut off already. Which it isn't. So good luck with that.

You know that stereotype of Americans being ignorant of anything outside their little bubble? You fit that.

Are Trump's remarks on anything helpful?

As someone who has visited several European countries, his point hits home.

No it doesn't, it just shows that you are ignorant as well.

I've got a friend that visited Vancouver once. According to him, Canada is hardly a first world country (as in markedly less so than northern/western Europe, at any rate), and the streets full of homeless junkies. Not sure what really transpired on that trip, but his opinion on the matter seems to be about as objective, enlightened and intelligent as yours. Ie, not particularly.

    Vancouver? 1 city he visited?
That's not a very compelling argument at all. How many did you visit?

Visit the best city in North America at the very least.

He did not mention if the person had been to the US, so may well have visited New York.

My point was that his statement was stupid - as was yours. Noone needs to visit the "best city" of a continent to come up with one of those, nor more than one of them. And by the way, what cities did you visit yourself then, who feel that visiting the "best city" (like that's even a thing) of a continent is the least one can do before coming up with a blanket statement, like the one you made yourself earlier?

    Canada has a defense minister?

How many times has China or Russia attacked or even threatened Canada?

Canada is not the only other party to NATO, and you'd have to be an idiot to think that Article 5 isn't a major deterrent to attacking any NATO nation.

There really isn't any ranking I've come across that puts NYC as the best city. Been there multiple times. It's interesting for sure but hardly the best place to live.

Only for them to be the biggest critics after the fact.

I actually agree here. Let some of our biggest critics secure their own global interests.

Ahahahaha everyone else bill, if you spend so much on millitary program and war it's not because other country don't want to spend, it's cause a big part of your economy revolve around making weapon and selling them/ maintenance of said weapon.

If trump wants to cut military budget and stop going to war good for him but he's going to have some powerful loby trying to stop him... so many company run on the gov. money, they spend close to 1% of the GDP just on maintenance. other country that don't make weapon have no reason to spend so much on it... U.S defense budget is just a giant help fund for U.S manufacturing and U.S economy hidden under something that conservative love so they don't complain about too much gov. spending on helping company that would fail without it.

There are things to do in New York, which places it above the entirity of Canada by default.

We could if we stopped defending other people. Last I checked, those twats down south kept dragging Canada into their wars.

At least in Canada, you don't have to worry about getting shot by some deranged idiot with an assault rifle.

That has never worried me in New York either.
