As I read the title, I assumed a child kicked a mans seat, he turn around and pulled a gun on the kid. This made me think, wow what a crazy nut job. Then you read what actually happened, but of course most people will just read the title and believe that is what actually happened.Source
Man pulled gun inside movie theater after child kicked his seat
PADUCAH, KY (KFVS) -
An Illinois man is accused of pulling a gun inside a Paducah, Kentucky movie theater on Saturday morning, July 23.
Paducah police say they will seek charges against the man.
According to police, they were called to the Cinemark Theater on Hinkleville Road at around 11:50 a.m. on Saturday after a fight broke out inside the theater.
A man told one of the officers that he and his son were sitting behind another man and the son was kicking the back of the man's seat.
According to witnesses, the man got up and cursed at the boy, asking if he was going to continue kicking his seat.
Police say the boy's father broke in and a fight began between the two men.
They say as the father got the upper hand in the fight, witnesses told them the other man pulled a gun and said, "What the [expletive] are you going to do now?"
According to police, other people in the theater saw the gun and began running for the exit.
Three men, including theater employees and patrons, escorted the man from the theater and were outside with him when police arrived.
According to police, this was the only theater in the building affected by the incident. The movie-goers who ran during the fight were let back in.
Police say the man was barred from Cinemark property and they will present their investigation to the McCracken County Attorney's Office on Monday for charges.
Woo ever threw the punch first is in the wrong, but I can't blame a guy who was getting his ass kicked to pull out a gun and stop it.

That is what happened. The other man, the man whose seat was being kicked, did pull a gun out. Just because it took a few minutes from the boy kicking doesn't make the title untrue.

exactly, dont go around throwing punches if you not ready to take a bullet. now, if the man with the gun started the physical altercation then he is in for some big time trouble, if not he was merely defending himself and has every right to do so.

he a pulled a gun because he was getting kicked in a fist fight it seems. not because the kid was kicking the seat. and why was the kid kicking the seat to begin with? the father needs to control his child. Originally Posted by Darsithis

^ Also this, while I don't approve of pulling a gun - I don't know how bad the fight got (but I can't imagine it was that bad before someone would break it up / they would break it up / etc) - but really whoever punched first committed assault.
