Just by going by statistics alone we are in the safest age in human history. War deaths are at an average low, crime rates are getting lower overall each year with one or two blips along the way. Only thing that is making people feel more scared overal is perception. Which isn't facts and should be ignored. Things are getting better.

There were axe maniacs, bombers and shooters before, it's just since 9/11 everyone went cuckoo about terrorism and somehow a 'religion-related knife attack' is more terrifying than any of the other knife attacks. Fear mongering by the media made us believe that for some reason all of our lives are suddenly in danger and that the western civilization is nearing its end - it's not. In Europe, there was always terrorism - ETA and IRA has the unspeakably greater bodycount than ISIL has and will have in a long time. That doesn't mean we should just shrug, of course, it just means that it's nothing new and the only reason we're constantly hearing about this is that it sells well. Headlines sell well. Murder has always been selling well, the only topic that used to be more popular was celebrity gossip. Now? Terrorism is the new fad, ufnortunately.

His VP choice spent time in his political career fighting against LGBT rights....why would any sane LGBT person vote for him? What his daughter has to say about women has no bearing on his opinion of women. We've heard the nasty comments he's made, he has no respect for women.

The demographics and likelihood to vote are far different for the UK vs the US. It means that millennials are politically much more powerful in the US than the UK meaning that the UK's 52/48 leave/remain would equate to a 48/52 leave/remain in the US.

Trump is almost certain to lose. It would require a good republican candidate vs a poor democratic candidate for republicans to win. In a generic bad/bad match up democrats will always win due to those demographic advantages. Oh and don't take what you see on these boards as being representative of America. Its not. America isn't constituted solely of white male gamers between the ages of 20 and 55.

Yeah. That's your opinion and how you respond to the situation. However it's foolish to think that's everyone's perception. This isn't about convincing those on the opposite side. Winning the electing is about drawing people who are on the fence, to your side. And according to the polls, Trump isn't doing bad. In the end he doesn't have to convince people he's pro-women and pro-LGBT. He just has to convince people in doubt on it that he'll not be as bad as they thought.

Never said she was worse then Trump or better, but look at her sponsors she is representing everything Bernie is against, If americans had any balls they would vote third party and if Bernie had any balls he would run third party but he instead sold out.
