That's definitely part of it - Wonder Woman could give Thor a run for his money in a weight lifting competition (even without her bracelets) - but in canon the Amazons place an almost Spartan emphasis on physical athleticism: so it's not enough to say she's strong simply by virtue of semi-divine heritage.

Gina Carano was actually a really great action star in Haywire. Her dialogue wasn't world caliber, and she wasn't asked to do a whole ton of emoting, but she was one of the most believable action stars I've seen in a while. It's a very underrated and relatively unknown spy movie by Steven Soderbergh

Yea, something I quite liked about Diablo 3 actually was that the female Barbarian was physically imposing - games too have a tendency to make female warriors twiggy - which I find actually hurts immersion and gives them less aesthetic difference than the males which (while also suffering from a somewhat similar prettying-up) often have more physical variety of appearance.

In D3, the female barbarian actually looked physically intimidating - as she should. Which gave good variety to the female monk and demon hunter - both also very physically demanding classes - to look fit but in a different way:

The monk is fit in a cardio/yoga/martial art sort-of-way:

So they all actually match their combat style, the barbarian actually looks like she can swing a sword her own height with deadly force, the monk looks like she can kata for hours on end, the DH looks comfortable to dance-and-weave her way through a horde of hungry ghouls. Gal Gadot / Wonder Woman (and Rey in Star Wars is also somewhat guilty of this, but she's not quite a warrior yet, so maybe that will change) - should look more like the monk: since that's kind of how WW fights.

Whereas, I was actually perfectly fine with Black Widow being lithe and ScarJo-dainty - because at no point does Black Widow's fighting style rely on strength, or even really cardio - she's all throat strikes, joint locks, and stabbings/shootings - virtually always from the shadows.

Yeah well, you don't need massive muscles to be a good fighter. Too big muscles might even get in the way. Amazons are warriors, not weightlifters. Besides, their strength comes from magic, so muscles matter nothing.

One could be the same for Superman, but perhaps his muscles are an adaptation to Earth's conditions that give him superpowers. I mean, there's really no point with Superman going to the gym to build up some muscle when he can lift a battleship with his fingertip as easily as we lift a regular paper towel.

Warner Bros, latest super hero movies have only been moderately successful. So maybe they do a "Sony Ghostbusters" promote the anti-semitism to get "free" attention, and "silence" critics X only speak bad of WW becuse he is a anti-semitist. Go and see the moive if not you suport the nazism.....
