Julian Assange promises 'a lot more material' related to election will be leaked

Wikileaks founder Julian Assange promises 'a lot more material' related to election will be leaked

Wikileaks founder Julian Assange said Tuesday that his organization will be releasing “a lot more material” related to the US election in the coming months.

The remarks to CNN came just days after Wikileaks published thousands of emails showing the correspondence of top officials at the Democratic National Committee.

The emails, which caused great turmoil inside the Democratic Party as its convention got underway, were thought to have been compromised by Russia-linked hackers. They showed top officials working to tip the scales in favor of Hillary Clinton in the 2016 primaries and against her chief opponent, Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders.

Assange declined on Tuesday to confirm or deny whether there was a Russian link, but left open the possibility the source would one day be revealed.
"Perhaps one day the source or sources will step forward and that might be an interesting moment some people may have egg on their faces. But to exclude certain actors is to make it easier to find out who our sources are," Assange told CNN, speaking from the Ecuadorian embassy in London.

On Tuesday, the Hillary Clinton campaign said its internal security team had determined the hack was related to Russia. Assange took a jab at the former secretary of state for doing so.

"It raises questions about the natural instincts of Clinton that when confronted with a serious domestic political scandal, she tries to blame the Russians, blame the Chinese, etcetera," he told CNN.

He added: ”Because if she does that while in government, it could lead to problems.”
Can someone give this guy the Pulitzer award already!?!?!

Good. Hillary should go to Prison not run for Office. The fact that after everything the dem. choose her and not Bernie shows how corrupt they literally are. They will push the narative and their candidate w/e it takes.

Nice to hear it seemingly wasn't the Russians at least, I wonder if we'll be getting some fun dirt on the republicans next?

To stop hopefully stop endless replies, I redact this. Read down a couple posts if you must :)

He is a narcissistic talker who (allegedly) commits rape while taking the credit for the work of others; that sets a pretty low bar for giving out Pulitzer awards.

The rape story is fairy-tale to make him shut up. The guy sacrificed his life, his needs so we might be able to read staff like that.
He does deserve way more than a Pulitzer.

Rape defined as "Two women which had sex with him said he didn't use a condom."

It is still likely the Russians; he didn't deny it.

And there was already a security "hack" of the republicans - turned out they dislike Hillary and don't porn-surf that much during the convention:
    * 13.1% accessed Yahoo Mail, 17.6% checked their Gmail inbox, and 13.8% used chat apps like WhatsApp, WeChat and Skype
    * 6.5% shopped on Amazon, and 1.2% accessed a banking app or banking websites like bankofamerica.com, usbank.com, or wellsfargo.com
    * 5.1% played Pokémon Go
    * 4.2% visited government domains or websites
    * 0.7% used dating apps like Tinder, Grindr, OKCupid, Match and Meetup
    * 0.24% visited pornography sites like Pornhub.com
(note: This was at the convention!)
Oh, and they prefer "Vote Trump" compared to "Vote Hillary" by more than 2-1 :-)

Allegedly in this case means that he has not yet stood trial for that crime, since he is avoiding justice.

Assange has never revealed sources from other articles and other document releases. Think you might be reading too much into as you stated already.

What hes pointing out, is that with a complete lack of any source, Hillary is quick to blame espionage and point the finger at another country. Really its just a talking point to distract from the real story.

Have u actually researched his rape allegation?

Because it was his ex-girlfriend who made the accusation under pressure from the authorities... she WITHDREW the accusation within days. But the Swedish authorities still want to 'question' him about it...

Yes its a fukking stitch up to get him into custody so he can be deported to the USA.

I'm sure if he'd release anything regarding to DJT, MMO-C will request his head his head on a stick en masse.

They were russians but they just dumped the leak to Wikileaks because getting them to the public does the most damage.

Abit odd how wikileaks transparency and accountability agenda, might put a guy who openly is for torture and commiting warcrimes, at the front seat for the strongest military power in the world.

Even more weird when it's from a guy who does not want to stand trial for rape in Sweden of all places, hypocrisy at it's best.

The fact of the matter is, whether he raped anyone or not (and I, like so many, have my doubts that he did any such thing), it has absolutely nothing to do with WikiLeaks, and whether WikiLeaks is a) and amazing thing, and b) showing us the truth. Those are two completely separate things, and the former is being used to try and muddy the waters.

Whether Michael Jackson did something with underage kids has absolutely nothing to do with his music; he was a musical genius. An incredible musical genius. But, people can, and do, use the former to muddy the waters.

They're not "putting" anyone in any "front seat". Truth is truth.
