Dogs, hands down. Loyal, intelligent, protective, love to play and work, can be trained to do just about anything.
Favourite type of dog: The Rottweiler.

I love dogs so my favorite are wolves particularly the gray wolf also know as the timber wolf which most have gray fur but their fur can be black,white,brown or a mix of the colors.

Also fun fact about Tortoises..... The Russian Tortoise is the first living thing to have seen the dark side of the moon. A pair of Russian Tortoises were on the Zond 5 Soviet spacecraft that circled the moon.
