Japan getting 10 new Wii games for the VC over the next 5 weeks. There will also be a 30% My Nintendo discount during the launch period.

Nintendo is starting an "indie-selects" line of retail releases similar to their Nintendo Selects (at least for Europe right now).
So far a retail version of Fast Racing Neo and a double pack of the two SteamWorld games (maybe now the rumored Rusty amiibo will be a thing) with all the DLC for both has been announced, hopefully there is more to come like Freedom Planet and maybe some of Nintendo's download only games. Also for anyone who gives a shit (like me), Tumblestone and Runbow are coming out to retail as well.

Also there are talks of a possible new Mega Man game, but it would be linked to the new "reboot" cgi cartoon that is coming out.

Color Splash shit show aside, I still find it intriguing the Wii U has the 2 definitive JRPGs of this gen so far in TMS and XCX. Persona 5 will likely be the first worthwhile non port on the PS4 because I expect FFXV to be a shit show.

Actually been playing XCX again recently having fun in the end game and the world makes me sad, because it's literally so good and was wasted on a dying console. Doubt the FF XV open world will even come close to Mira.

This is amazing. Wow. I didn't expect anything worth noting. Like, yeah, sure, they're Wii U games, but Super Mario Maker on the go alone is amazing. And I never played Wooly World still so yeah.

Ya I'm happy Mario Maker is coming to 3DS. Now I have to make a choice.

1) Get a cheap 2DS and play it on that.
2) Get a 3DSXL *new* and play it on that.
or
3) Wait and see if the NX will play 3DS games.

Sucks it is going to lack some features the Wii-U one has but its all good.
