OP, you require a beer river. Circular water stream. Beer in bottles are stored in cooler unit. On demand, it is ejected from said cooler unit into the stream. Obviously cotraption is built, so that bottle doesn´t shatter. Extract ice cold beer out of stream of water. Get instant cool-your-drinks-in-the-river-at-summer-during-camping-feeling.

    Or this.

    Books + leather + floor-to-ceiling bookshelves = <3
I do love those, though the first one seems to be lacking in comfy furniture. Unfortunately, I mostly read books on my iPad these days, so I collected books until about 2009, and everything I've read since has been electronic. Plus, I threw away half my books when I moved to Texas. All the books I currently own could probably fit on three of those bookshelves.
'Twas a cutlass swipe or an ounce of lead
Or a yawing hole in a battered head
And the scuppers clogged with rotting red
And there they lay I damn me eyes
    All lookouts clapped on Paradise
All souls bound just contrarywise, yo ho ho and a bottle of rum!

    Ok I'm bumping this!!

Finally got into my new place and will be beginning the process of getting my man cave set up.

Does anyone have any links to a place to get some cool gaming related art? I'm looking to get between 4-5 pieces.

    Can you show us pictures?

About the art, just win contests. That's how I have my posters.

And I'd love to win contests but it's much easier to simply buy it.

Edit: It won't let me post the pic. What's the best site to link it?

The only request I have is that it has a den/office.

What I would like from you guys is to see any pics or get suggestions for a legit man cave. Especially if you already have a nice man cave.

I'm going to have my computer in there and a wall dedicated to my 600ish books (I've read them all. Most of them twice.). Other than that I'm open to ideas/suggestions you guys have.

    Thanks for your time!

Edit: Good point Faroth. I'm a gamer and have a YouTube channel based on my time in the Corps. So anything game/military related is cool.

I watch sports but don't care to decorate after them.

Big into fantasy (hence my love for wow and similar titles).
Well my man cave is my garage which consits of work shop, gym and a comfy stoner room with couch, bed, air con, computer, 80's upright arcade machine with 320 arcade games and a fridge. Got lots of luis royo posters, metal posters like pantera n slayer and even adventure time posters. Great to get drunk and high in.
I may not agree with what you say but I will fight to the death to defend your right to say it.

e-bay and redbubble is where I got mine - online at least. some of my prints I got at conventions, a couple - from Forbidden Planet in NYC years ago. but e-bay and redbubble have a very decent selection - you'll just might need to invest a bit of time sorting through some of the jankier stuff.

very occasionally - official company shops might have something nice, but... its usually VERY expensive, prints are tiny and selection is lacking.

lastly - there are always commissions. lots of fanartists out there, just gotta find the one whose style you like and then pay the price they request.

P.S. the joy of being an adult is that you don't have to restrict the stuff you like to just one room, IMO.

Holy shit is that in your house? That looks like some crazy ass cool workshop type thing. I can't see clearly, what do you have in those cabinets?

That's like, incredibly true. But it's not as fun.

Oh ya I was gonna say 29Marine it's probably way better if you could get a room in the first floor or the basement.

Sadly I can't get high. Fire Department's not a fan lol. But drinking yes.

The goal for this though is to be a gaming/military room. I make YouTube videos so I want it to reflect that.

Yes that is in my home.

Mostly what you see in the glass cabinets are for reloading ammunition, so bottles of gunpowder, primers, and also some gun cleaning supplies.

Meh, first thing that needs to go is the carpet.

At the very least put down some of that hardwood looking vinyl.

The green paint isn't bad for a mancave if you go with a "wood" type of decor, like outdoors type stuff.

Frankly I like that green. The picture doesn't do it justice.

And that carpet is by far the comfiest thing I've ever stepped on. So I'm probably gonna keep it.

The goal of this place is to focus on gaming/my Marine Corps stuff.

I'll do all my reloading of ammo and stuff down in my garage.

What kind of youtube videos do you make?

By gaming do you mean you want it to be your computer room where you have a computer and you play games? Or your...idk...shrine for a marine corps outfit? I'm not quite understanding the vision.

I do mostly stuff about the Marine Corps. Answer questions for those who are considering joining etc. But I also do game playthroughs and the like.

And a combination of both really. I plan on getting shelving for my LootCrate stuff plus my Marine Corps memorabilia. I want the pictures to reflect both my love of gaming and perhaps one or two of the Marine Corps and something to relate to that as well.

But yes my computer and streaming stuff and all that will be in the room as well.

I'll also be getting a loveseat and a recliner for when I have friends over. I'm going to mount a TV on the wall and have my consoles below the TV.

Also I'm considering the Han Solo mini fridge.......

    Lol.

You could have a bunch of erotic human form furniture.

My uncle, who was a life-long hobbyist/collector (or hoarder, as we would figure out after he passed away) would decorate using his hobbies, which included building various models, be they model cars, boats, but more than any other, trains. If you're into such things, a man cave makes for a great place to put such things on display.

Haven't read the entire thread, so maybe that idea had been mentioned before.

Oh, another one a friend of mine had for his house: Kegerator. Barring that, something to keep your favorite refreshments chilled.

If you're gonna have a large collection of books, having a few seats available in the event you host a book club meeting or have folks over who just want to read can do so.

Large table, for either building model planes/trains/etc., or for hosting D&D and/or other such games.

This also frustrates a lot of women when they ask about a decorating idea and the men are like "I don't care" because they legit do not care about home decorating.
Not one bit. As long as it's not a black on black graveyard style goth theme, I don't care which colour of blue it is. It's both blue. I don't even know the names for whatever shade of blue it is they're pointing out. You want it blue, make it blue...
