What reason did they give? Pushing it back by a month is quite extreme for such goods with amazon afaik.

Well i try to watch anime when i can but i do long shifts and real life tends to eat free time that i do have.

But i also have a tumblr where i reblog cute anime girls, lewd and ecchi stuff and i have over 300 followers.

I plan to start SSY on tuesday.

Only finished the first chapter so far, and so far it reads pretty good. Subaru's behavior isn't also as exaggerated in the novel as it is during some points of the anime, which is what most people here seem to dislike.

Behaviors like that are sometimes a lot more apparent when you have it right in your face, can see the expressions, and can hear it, something that can't really be conveyed in a book.

Yeah, I mentioned that before. He's much more tolerable in the LN/WN and half because I just think the anime adds more to it because you can actually hear/see the whining and so on lol

Agreed so much. Holy shit that was great. Best episode so far.

It's just one of those things that you have to sit down and do. I started with learning hiragana and went from there. I just learned how to read it and didn't bother with meanings at first. Moved on to katakana and then started learning some common kanji. It's actually kinda fun to learn as opposed to learning another language that uses a roman alphabet (a.k.a. something that would actually be useful irl).

Jisho has been amazing in learning kanji. Radicals don't always convey meaning for a kanji but it sure as hell makes it easier to recognize "words" when you know how to "spell" them.

TL;DR:
spend a couple days/week learning hiragana/katakana
use one of the many resources for learning grammar
use one of the many guides for learning kanji (some go radicals, others mnemonics, others vocab)
use anki for vocab/kanji
lots of reading practice

Just keep with it and don't be a lazy bastard like some people (me).

One of these days I have to start doing this, I mean I've got nothing else to do (other then to work. yay got work until 30'th November at least). but then again, I'm also lazy af.
