It was the same with the mobs in Black Morass. There is a bugged texture on it. Will no doubt be fixed when they get around to it, but it's far from the most major bug that needs attention right now

It is. On occasion, it summons normally, without the excessive gloss effect that is likely a bug.

I think this bug has been fixed, the mount looks like it used to for me again, including the glowing runes.

I play on Ultra graphics. I get the metallic sheen with low shadows but it is normal when I put shadows back up to any of the other settings

Spoke too soon. Now all levels of shadows make me shiny

Not gonna happen. Blizzard likes money and as such they will most likely put it in the store, like they did with the Grinning Reaver, the Runesaber and the Iron Skyreaver.
