What's the deal with this? These new emotes sound nothing like the originals. It's like my blood elf can't remember what accent he's supposed to have.

I love that they're adding new voice emotes but it's likely they could not hire the original actor for whatever reason. Busy/deceased/contractual, etc. The Male Human sounds very similar and I can't tell if it's the original actor from 10+ years ago now with modern audio equipment or a new actor entirely. Either way I like the new sound for human and I wouldn't be opposed to them re-recording (and making some new material) voice emotes as an optional feature. I'll have to log over to my Blood Elf now to check up on what you're talking about O.o;
