It's a weird world when you can actually get in trouble for saying that lives matter lol. How long is it before saying something like "killing is bad" will upset those on the left?

It's about as much of a dick move as going to a cancer research fundraiser and going "What about all the people who DON'T have cancer?"

I would agree with you, except BLM is full of racist/afrocentric/self-segregating individuals. I think a good portion of BLM is really Black Lives Matter more.

Except that black people aren't dying of a disease. The person stated that all lives matter, including back people... This comment makes about as much sense as wiping before you poop. What are you going to do for your next trick, gargle peanut butter?

Do we have to do that every time? Can we maybe please stop pretending that "all lives matter" is being used in a completely innocent way, especially when it is being said in the same breath people are using to dismiss BLM?
LOL, BLM is a fucking domestic-terrorist group. Nothing more, nothing less.

Can we stop pretending there is no afrocentric/racist element to BLM and that society somehow values white lives because black people also get shot by police?

i think half this nonsense could have been avoided if they had just put a 'too' on the end from the very start

they should have realized that most white people would just interpret the current name as meaning blacks matter and everyone else doesn't

Perhaps if BLM wasnt based on lies and spreading nonsense, people wouldnt be quick to dismiss them. The perception of their whole world view is false though, and considering the way they act, they deserve every ounce of disrespect they get. They are a bunch of racist aholes and shouldn't be coddled.

Being forced to doing community service in the shape of cultural events monthly and continuously is some effect indeed in the long run. Having been in college, it's already exhausting trying to have a job and classes at the same time.

All for something she said on facebook. Whatevs.

Since when BLM is entitled to have their rhetoric protected (or understood)?.

“#ForgetBlackLivesMatter; more like AllLivesMatter,” wrote Rohini Sethi, the vice president of the school’s student government association.

Ms. Sethi wrote those words last month just a few hours after five Dallas police officers were assassinated.
except for the part where it was in response to police in dallas being shot at a BLM protest
    New Legion item stats?

I heard Trump might be looking for a new campaign manager by the end of this week.

expressing profound ignorance of the problem and dismissing it
It sounds like this girl and maybe a few forum posters here are more than qualified.

And it ignores others etnicities that are in a similiar situation.

What black lives matter does is also make cops more scared to do something against blacks than other etnicity. This means the bad cops will just do it to other people that are also on the weaker end of society. Clothes and the way you act are good identifyers for them, black skin just makes it easier.

This is what i also dislike about that movement. It ignores the others who are in the same boat, you also see cops being too agressive quickly to non-blacks,

To adress the issues requires several things:
    - Far less guns on the street (process of decades)
    - Bet cop education, their is probably a macho culture their aswell, maybe a different attitude in their training.
    - Cops being involved in the community
    - 'Equality of Opertunity', free/low cost education
    - Further research on how to adress the high crime rate under black communities to find solutions
    - Find a way to ahve citizens be more respectfull to cops, it's much more common that citizens just obsctruct oficers compared to eu countries.

But this costs a lot of money and they lean on social programs which America hasn't liked for a long time. So not solving the problem blacks are ousting isn't because of a hatred for blacks, just anti socialism sentiment. I do think that investing in police training is something all sides can accept. Free/lower cost of education should be a possible way as well that both sides can agree on, because at least than the people need to do something.

I think profiling is an effective tool and you can't do without it (their is an entire tv show that does profiling :P). But i do think every 4-5 years profiling systems need to be reavaluated if it's not based on outdated data/experience.

The context in which she used "alllivesmatter" is pretty much the perfect time to use it. So lets stop defending the suspension on the grounds that she was trying to undermine black lives matter's message.

GG. These idiots are only portraying themselves as a victim. Cry for attention.

All this 'racism' BS is getting annoying. So quick to be hit on their toes.

the BLM is the KKK with new members that are black. Plain and simple.

I am a UH student... and yeah this still seems kinda dumb.

But it's a great intro to government. Go against the Liberal dogma and kiss your career goodbye. this is the best lesson this person can learn. Pander pander pander, then pander some more.

    Indeed.

So suddenly, Black Lives are MORE important, than ALL lives...? It doesn't make sense. I'd say that "all lives matter" >>>>>>>>> focus on a certain skin tone...
