Druid form given a second update, Worgen and Goblins none?

So lets be honest here, with legion doing a lot of updates to certain creature models, that being demons and npcs, when you see the fact that have, for a second time, updated the druid cat and bear forms, along with updating the moonkin form





It begs the question why they haven't dedicated a little time to updating the worgen and goblin forms. Now someone might believe blizzard when they tell you it doesn't need an update, but then neither did the druid bear and cat forms.

The worgen and goblin models are not even to the level that pandaren are, I'd even put these two character models in the same space as any creature models from wrath of the lich king despite them being released in cata, much like the Vrykul.



Isn't it time blizzard stopped making excuses, leaving these 4 character models as the only dated looking things they are, and do something with them?

Because their hot topic with Legion is the whole artifact thingy, which put them in this weird situation where druids wouldn't have had that whole awesomeness factor, and that's supposed to be one of the selling points after all. So they had to go and make the whole idea visually appealing to druids as well - brush up their animal models and design a bunch of fancy skins for them. They wouldn't have done it if it wasn't for the artifacts.

Seriously, was it THAT hard to answer that question for yourself? That's the problem with a lot of you guys here. You're just constantly totally hung up on your own little qualms and wishes and ideas, it makes it so hard for you to step back, see the big picture, be in the real world and think logically for a second.

Well, the Druids are more a front figure of the next content.

Though, Goblins don't need that badly an update, nor does male worgen - female worgen though, needs to have a shovel to the face, and remolded.

Maybe you forgot that the models for druids were actually redone IN cataclysm, or are we going to stretch goalposts to make a moot arguments now?

Why then retouch druid forms already updated if they were fine ? Because with your logic they shouldn't have been touched since they are more recent?

Unfortunately, Worgen and Goblin are two of the least popular races, and Druid is one of the most popular classes, so while the former need art updates badly (especially female Worgen, which never should have made it past QA, let alone out of beta and into the live game), the squeaky (more profitable) wheel gets the grease.

The reason Druids got new forms was because it's a pretty important part of the expansion in relation to the Artifact system. Yes, Worgen models need work, but not as much as the Druids did. You've got to put priority on important tasks. Worgen & Goblin models still have fairly good models, albeit they have issues. They don't need updating, but we do want them to happen obviously.

They made new models for the artifacts and then they inched in a new moonkin form as well. I personally am fine with the worgen and goblin models altho I hope they remake worgen female. But yea I assume they will update them at some point along with new caster animations.

The original 20 races/genders of course are going to take much longer than 4, that's basic math. It could take a week but still be much shorter a time span than WoD 's update.
