Jump then right before you land use the macro. Should keep you in one place.

All of that will be fixed anyway they stated its not what they want so I don't know why you just can't Rush like normal...

They said they will fix (and they are doing this, already few fixed) animation cancelling, I dont know why you even quoted this Momentum stuff.
Momentum != Animation canceling.

still they said animation cancelling is not intended so in a way its on the same radar as momentum
