Donald Trump claimed Wednesday that he had seen video of the recently reported $400 million cash transfer between the United States and Iran -- this despite no video of the exchange being public or known about. His campaign explained late Wednesday that he was mistaken and had actually seen video of American prisoners being released by Iran, not the money transfer.

And yet, there was Trump on Thursday afternoon on Portland, Maine, recounting the very same nonexistent video of the money transfer.

"You know, it was interesting, because a tape was made. Right? You saw that? With the airplane coming in? Nice plane," Trump said. "And the airplane coming in, and the money coming off, I guess, right? That was given to us -- has to be -- by the Iranians. And you know why the tape was given to us? Because they want to embarrass our country."

It's to limit power acquisition. There's only one party I see potentially gaining much from this. It doesn't mean I don't care about other issues, it's just this one is the biggest considering my hopes for the future.

On his YouTube page and regularly in speeches say "bomb the shit out them and give their oil to Exxon"? While also arguing for nuclear proliferation? Was the Cold War really that good?

You are not limiting power acquisition, but changing who has it. You don't care about the future, because instead of seeing things like Reagan having lasting impact, you think it will have the opposite effect here. If US isn't enouph, the same happened with Thatcher at the time. History is filled with people destroying their countries because their clairvoyant. You say Trump will mean limiting power, but I say it shows politicians that they should run more people like Paris Hilton, because that's what gets the votes... I think I'm far closer to being realistic than you are.

It's become very apparent that he's not posting based on ideals or any sort of rational process, and only because he's displeased that an overall moderate Democratic voter base didn't favor Sanders. Don't really see the point of continuing any discussions with him given that he's at that point.

Yeah I think she was on CNN and they bashed her about it and made her admit she was wrong. And she then proceeded to claim there were tens of thousands of troops killed. /facepalm She is one of the most vile people I have ever seen and what goes round will come round and I will point and laugh when it does.

If this continues we are in landslide territory and a full sweep of Senate + House + Presidency + Supreme court for the democrats. There isn't much he can do right now to change things and it seems that voters have come to the conclusion he is too unstable and too psychologically flawed to be entrusted with the presidency. The numbers may fluctuate a bit but he will have one more chance to turn things around at the debates. If not he and the republicans are going to get creamed.

And I'll finally be right about at least something this election cycle. Jesus, I predicted Sanders would drop out by late March, I said Trump had no chance at all and would be gone by Colorado. Once he got the nomination, I said that Trump might win less than 5 states. I think that last one has a pretty good chance now.

Yeah not gonna happen. While I am enjoying the drop in polls I don't see them lasting at the levels they are at. I think we will return to a 4 to 4.5 difference between the two until the debates. If Trump doesn't debate (as we are seeing him laying the groundwork not to) the split will go up again. But if he does debate I see a rise of one or two points and then a drop back to 4-5 difference. So I see him winning in more than 5 states. Of course I retain the right to be wrong given the chaos in this campaign.

Well that was due to a couple factors that can't really be repeated. 1st was the FBI report on Clinton's emails. Then after that came the republican convention. Those bounced Trump up quite a bit. There isn't really any more game changers on the horizon apart from the debates. There could be some out of the blue black swan event of course but that's always a low risk probability.

She was never behind, except in Ramussen that has some of the most outdated polling methods and has low confidence levels, but since it shows Trump higher usually conservatives tend to shout Ramussen polls from the rooftops, meanwhile ignoring all the other reputable polls.

The poll consensus has always had Clinton swinging between 5 and 10 points ahead.
