For those who haven't seen/read here is Paul Merson's table prediction.
I think Hull will finish dead last but I have to say that I agree with his top 6 in terms of the teams in it, bar Liverpool, who have no defense and a dysfunctionnal offense.
Im not sure about Utd behind City. Utd have some big names this season and I haven't seen City do the same thing, as far as Im aware their new signings are all very young with a lot of potential.
Yeah, City can attack but they've done absolutely nothing to cover their defensive non-existence. How they do will depend entirely on Kompany's fitness; just as it's been the past couple of seasons unless they can find someone even remotely as good, which is pretty unlikely.
Must've been some night out.
Adams, Merson etc.
Parlour getting glassed.
I'd have brought Souness - need that Glasgae kiss in a pinch.
It's 'Glesga' mate.
You'd probably get the 'heid stuck on ye' if you mispronounced that.
(Or worse end up like the Dark Knight's Joker)

Home at Cappielow vs Dundee Utd in the cup quarters.
Everton v Yeovil in the league cup. Sucks that the misses is on nights.
Could this be the shittiest opening premier league day ever? Is there a single must watch game? I mean even Arsenal V Liverpool on Sunday barely fills me with excitement.
Arsenal Liverpool is gonna be fun : dysfunctional offense versus shit defense on both sides.
Chelsea West Ham promises a lot more I reckon.
Messi back for Argentina. the prima donna tax dodging hobbit bell end.
Arsenal vs liverpool will be a big game for the season to come. I would say Liverpool are gona cream them because of arsenals lack of centerbacks but liverpool are so hot and cold i'd never say they are gona cream someone.
Alan Shearer says that six teams can win the title.
No Alan, you haven't been paying attention - 20 teams can win the title.
First match being the champions is fair enough, but against a newly promoted side with 13 fit players and no manager? Harsh.
