Every other Blizzard game has CGI in-game cinematics. I can see them doing a CGI one for Broken Shore honestly, that might be what the thing no one knows about is. Doubt anything else is CGI though.

starcraft and diablo dont even have the serious-cartoonish art style of wow, it would look weird having the usual wow art and suddenly full cgi mode on the screen.

There is a full CGI possibility. When they end they play the old CGI WoW ccinematic from release which could be them saving the space for a new CGI cinematic. I know it is unlikely, but it is possible.

Dungeons are overrated. She's the finale of the quest chain and all of guys who serve Farondis come to help him. Definitely a emotional moment that is better than if she was just a loot pinata in a 5-man.
