Is there anything before you go to Broken Shore containing those dialogues from alpha between Sylvanas and Vol'jin about going to see an old friend and leaving her guards in Orgrimmar? Or didn't that stuff make the final cut?

Voljin as a Loa sounds great he is maybe something like garajal i think he is a loa now and can speak to all trolls and say them the legion is comming we need to unite.
I call it we see Zandalar and Kultiras soon with jaina .

Watching the Alliance cinematic I cant help but wonder...where is Jaina?

The true questions is, why the Horde has all the leaders and Alliance is missing Velen, Tyrande, Malfurion etc...

I think Malfurion is already tangled up in Nightmare nonsense in Val'sharah at this point, as he says he's heading there when you turn in the Archimonde item and get the moose mount. No idea why there's like zero Draenei presence, though.

Malfurion and Tyrande are busy with the emerald nightmares.

Velen sent his draenei forces over there but I guess he knew already there was no point of him going there... And I think he was with Anduin/training him.

The 3 dwarves were surely busy with the "return" of Magni.

Don't worry all of them will get involved with the legion... one of them will have a pretty sad story too.

What I did for my Demon Hunter...;
Did all the quests in Mardum, and Vault of the Wardens
Got one of the bonus objectives completed and didn't do the one in Mardum Lowerlands
Killed rares etc...

you only get box/shards once per invasion zone until it fully resets every 4 hours. So since there are only 1 invasion going on per continent you can only get rewards twice per 4 hours.
