    King Varian's Sword

Now that he is dead, do you think warriors will use his sword as an artifact? It will look pretty good on Horde warriors.

No, it's rightfully Anduin's sword now, a father's sword passes to his son: https://worldofwarcraft.com/en-us/ne...on-of-the-wolf

It was obviously recovered at some point between the broken shore and the events of that comic... You couldn't come to this conclusion yourself?

Thank you for your astounding detective research.

Clearly I wasn't asking how he managed to get the sword that when last seen was covered in demons and fire.

Doubt it, it is one of a kind and currently in Anduin's possession.

Probably in the same way we retrieve Ashbringer and Tirion.

Alliance got Gorehowl and the Tusks of Mannoroth.

I'd say that would be a fitting return.

Ashbringer got plunged into a pretty deep pit of fel sludge.

Shylamane just fell on the ground and lost it's magic.

Guess which one is an artifact.

Those are trophies of our kills. The Horde betrayed our King, which lead to his death. You cowards arent worthy of such a relic. If you want this sword youre going to have to go through me first.

Nobody betrayed the alliance. Varian was a fool that was willing to let all of his best men die just for the glory of killing Guldan. The Horde realized it was too late and pulled out as any sane person would.

    Oh please.

You’ll see several draenei and dwarves around with Doombringer, a weapon with lots of tradition stuff in the orcish race, owned by 2 warchiefs (Orgrim and Thrall) and yet you start bitching about Shalamayne, a sword Jaina gave Varian not long ago with no history and no connection to the Alliance?

Besides that: They could’ve chosen both Doomhammer and Shalamayne to be warrior weapons and Alliance would get Shala and Horde would get Doomhammer.
