Azeroth, the last planet? Last World-Soul?

So, someone in the Legion prepatch events, I heard an NPC in the Legion say that Azeroth was the last planet to be destroyed by the legion....that all others were gone, any validation to this?

The big thing, we still have a world-soul sleeping within Azeroth's core. Will we see anything of this future titan? Will he save us from Sargeras? He is supposedly stronger than any other titan there has ever been and even with the old gods, he remained un-corrupted. The rest of the Pantheon are still trying to find physical forms from their last battle with Sargeras thousands of years ago. Will they return? But the main question being, what will become of this sleeping world-soul, and will we see anything from him/her in Legion?

TL;DR: What will become of this sleeping world-soul within Azeroth, and will we see anything from him/her in Legion?

I don't even know what a world soul is if I'm honest ):

My guess though is there are other planets though. Would be pretty lonely if we were it.

A world-soul is a fancy way of saying Titan, theres a sleeping/developing Titan inside Azeroth

EDIT: This Titan was the last to be discovered and is assumed to be the strongest ever, more-so than Sargeras

There are other planets in the universe but Azeroth has the last >>known<< Titan growing at it's core.

The Pantheon believed that this Titan was the key to defeating the Void Lords. Sargeras believes that if this Titan is corrupted by the Old Gods (serving the Void Lords) then the universe will be over.
The Pantheon are also believed to be entirely dead. The last remnant of their power was blasted into the Keepers on the planet (Mimiron etc).

But yeah, other planets definitely still exist.

I've actually heard speculations that Elune is the World Soul of Azeroth. And to be honest, it does kind of make sense.

From the Illidan questline in Legion Elune created the Naaru, so she probably isn't the world soul

Really? That's pretty cool actually. Always interesting learning more about her.
    Cool as a cucumber.

I'd say the Titans have the power to create Naaru. As we've seen, light appears to be their thing to some extend(Tyr), so it's possible. Again though, just speculation.

No, the Naaru are more powerful than the Titans. The Naaru came from back when there was just light and void, they were the first being

this coming from the WoW Chronicle

Eeeehm yeah no. The Naaru are older then the titans but definately not more powerful. Not even close.

We dont know enough about the power of elune to say if she is more or less powerful then sargeras.

If she is more powerful then sargeras she is most likely the azerothian baby titan.

Its obvious that Sargeras being the prime villain in warcraft is going to have to come up against the azerothian baby titan at some point.

Also since Elune created the naaru one could argue they are not the first beings. Especially if Elune is a titan.

Probably not the last, but there are more that have been destroyed than not.

They are the 'Light' equivalent of the Old Gods. Created by "The Light" - Elune.

We absolutely do; its revealed in early quests in Legion that she is the polar opposite of the Void Lords. They are the Void, she is the Light.

If she is more powerful then sargeras she is most likely the azerothian baby titan.
She isn't; she existed before the material universe.

Except the Prime Villain in Warcraft is the Void Lords. Viewed a certain way, Sargeras is actually the good guy.. or at least, not evil. he's trying to destroy infant Titan-souls so that the Void Lords cant corrupt them and enter our reality fully, thereby destroying creation. he's going about it in an evil/despicable way, but hes trying to save the universe.

Also since Elune created the naaru one could argue they are not the first beings. Especially if Elune is a titan.
Which, you know, since she isn't, and we do, in fact know that she is polar opposite of the Void Lords.

Its all in Chronicle and in the first few quests in Legion.

I've read the chronicle and played from 100-110 on the beta. I've just researched online and i can find nowhere that mentions Elune is the light. There are many theories, one being she is a naaru, another that she is a titan but i acnt find her being the light anywhere. Also nowhere that mentions how powerful she really is compared to sargeras.

Azeroth is the last world soul the titans knew about before being destroyed and killed off. There may be more out there, but for now Azeroth is the last known one.

The Naaru are most definitely not more powerful than Titans, they simply predate them.

And a Titan can literally crush an Old god in the palm of his hand and we don't know if Elune is the Light, she is most likely just a powerful entity within it.

I think the best explanation for Elune would be that she's made up by primitive night elves and her name got carried around by tradition. The power the night elves feel it's coming from elune is actually their innate magical power they harnessed from the well and a dose of placebo.

Afaik there is no mention that the Naaru were created by Elune, this is pure speculation, and does that light outsite our universe have a name? why don't the void lords have names?
Also why would this ultra powerful being from outside the universe take such an interest in one particular tribe of dark trolls on one of the trillions planets out there?

Indeed. In fact, the whole "Old Gods corrupting baby Titans" plan is simply a way for the Void Lords to gain abilities similar to those of the Titans, as the Titans seemingly have powers beyond anyone or anything at this point. They tried, but failed, to corrupt actual Titans, so now they're targeting babies instead.

Yes, it would be rather strange if she was the Light, especially as she's always related to the moon/night and not the sun/day. She might even be related to the Void somehow, perhaps a renegade Void Lord or some such thing. Time will tell, at this point it's all theories anyway.

you should reread chronicles, because you are wrong.

Naa'ru are the represent of light, just like the Titans are the represent of Arcane. They are more or less on the same level.
