after starting to tank dungeons i've started to hate most dps players.

Honestly i prefer that. Far better to have a boss that requires the alliances pay attention and risk wiping than one of those horrible chain res conga lines where dps and healers try and kite the boss like some of the really easy alex raid finder fights.
Yeah low dps sucks, no matter the reason.
If you want to pull before me, I won't make special efforts. Be prepared to tank the mob for a while.
@dope_danny: come on, at least use FLAC. :<
No, at least not as it relates to my responses to Kazela, including the original response.
Semantics is the branch of linguistics and logic that deals with meaning. If I was saying the same thing as Kazela, but saying it in a way that I thought was clearer and arguing that my way was the better way to say it, then that would be arguing semantics. Or, alternatively, if I was arguing what he is saying actually meant something else, that would also be arguing semantics.
My response was simply commentary on the criticizing of SE for not including a damage parser and the specific point that we shouldn't have to go to a third party, because no MMO (that I'm aware of, anyway) includes one and we always have to go to a third party. It was a counterpoint that brought up additional commentary, not saying the same thing in a different way.
My responses to you, on the other hand, have been about semantics, because your initial response said what I said but in a different way.
You started out by bringing up a counter argument to my post by saying the same thing I did but in a different way.
Quite honestly, it appears like you're being contrary about this for the sake of being contrary, rather than constructive discussion.

At least it's Outer La Noscea, so it's fast to complete FATEs there.
between yokai and esoteric grinds i'm really hoping the next anima step is an easy one
I got my 'Raiser of Mountains' title from the Mini Cactpot last night.
Just read this thread:

Am I the only one that finds this somewhat overkill in terms of class complexity / stuff to manage?
Got ACT to work properly, and so far I haven't had one of "those runs", where you have level 60 DPS doing less than what people were capable of at level 50. If anything, running this + running content with my RL friend keeps both of us motivated to do our best. It gives one of us shit talking rights over the other, and stuff gets done quickly.
Unrelated, I just realized Ironworks gatherer/crafter gear is specialist-only...gives me more reason to help my friend catch up on crafting. He plans to spec CRP/ARM/BSM; I'm currently GSM/WVR/LTW, so between us, we'd cover most all the gear (only thing missing would be ALC for the luminous fibers).
Dragoon right now is my go-to for DPS classes when I'm not playing tank, and I wholeheartedly agree. The OGCDs I feel are right around on par with DRK, but it's the fairly long rotation that has essentially no deviation, and the 4th tier doesn't really add a lot as far as interesting gameplay as much as it makes the rotation 2 buttons longer before it cycles back.
I'm much more of a fan of a priority system.
