Human progress isn't measured by industry. It's measured by the value you place on a life.
Just, be kind.
Well really violent video games are so unrealistically over the top that most people can't form the connection so it's laughed off. Extreme porn... as over the top as it is isn't unrealistic really but your average woman/man isn't going to be up for that type of stuff. It can create unrealistic expectations for people that lack the experience such as teenagers or virgins etc. It's the visual stimulation that can skew your perceptions of real life women/partners.
I think that porn skews the idea of casual sex from what it's like in reality. Really good 'quality' sex is often hard to come by as many people are simply not proficient at it, be they male or female (or something in-between). Like any other skill, it requires practice and technique. However, most importantly, it requires a sense of teamwork, because you can be really proficient at sex, but if you just can't get on the same wavelength with your partner(s), it's going to be bad no matter what you attempt to do. :|

It seems like an impossible catch-22.
Of course this one is funny because people are complaining "Men aren't seeking meaningful relationships with women." Like its the end of the world that they aren't. I mean, haven't I as a woman been told to be a strong and independent being since day dot?
With male sexuality is nothing but mixed messages and social anxiety.
On MMO-C we learn that Anti-Fascism is locking arms with corporations, the State Department and agreeing with the CIA, But opposing the CIA and corporate America, and thinking Jews have a right to buy land and can expect tenants to pay rent THAT is ultra-Fash Nazism. Bellingcat is an MI6/CIA cut out. Clyburn Truther.
I think that men don't inherently have more desire/horniness than women, however - I think that men also have a sort of physical tension that is tied to their fluid releases, that is uniquely (to men) frustrating if pent up.
Further, I think the argument being made in the article is anecdotal, and better explained by the changing norms of who is willing to admit they have erectile dysfunction: 20 years ago it was only people with serious and debilitating diseases, today young men are willing to try to fix the problem rather than live with it for a lifetime - which I think may have been the case in the past.
My second criticism is that porn doesn't really seem to be what is being criticized here - but rather over-use: that frequent masturbation is the culprit. If that were the case, you would expect to find that a) people who have a lot of sex would also suffer, b) implies that dudes weren't masturbating prior to the existence of internet porn. The masturbation habits of men haven't changed, what changed is we're not looking old black and white photos of ankles, or whatever, anymore. (The real answer is we used to have prostitutes).
Sounds like that only saying...Don't play with it, you'll go blind.
