Hmm ok. Never heard of him before and Google doesn't come up with anything either. Seems weird they would make up a new boss for Kara given they have a pile of known lore figures to choose from.

But so long as he it's a fun fight (assuming we do end up going to Kara and fighting him) I guess it doesn't matter too much.

Boss could also end up being the Echo of Medivh that turns all the traps against you.

No, theres an island to capture them now that no one can steal them from u anymore.

But unlike the garrison it probably requires herbalism right?

I really want Thar'zhul to be a Eredar, and Forgotten Crypt to be a place to dungeon in.

Yes when you are doing the new quest stuff in the pre-patch Thar'zhul just yells at you twice in Karazhan.

Well before it took about 40 mins per character for 2 invasions, so there is no way to do 3 characters in 2 hours

Really? I've never had any last more than 15 minutes, personally. Most are over well within 10. There are a lot of AFK people, but there's usually quite a lot of others flying around from boss to boss, making stage 3 quite quick.

This is what it took the most for me during daytime when everyone was at work including traveling time to the first and the second invasion

I dont think they're sever specific, seems to just dump you into a random pool.

The Legion has invaded Karazhan, it will be a dungeon with Thar'zhul as end boss I think

I hope it's the Crypts of Karazhan then.. I don't want them to make the Karazhan raid into a 5-man dungeon.

Yeah, and its the Forgotten Crypt.
The other place is for artifacts.

They could update the place and have Thar'zhul as a Eredar Boss with other bosses trying to find the hidden gems inside long forgotten and even find the remains of Medivh from where Khadgar buried his old master.

Considering Medivh is still alive I highly doubt we will find his body...

So is this pre expansion quest only out in the US until tomorrow or am i missing something? I still haven't been approached by khadgars servant or w/e.

1) Do the new quests give rewards at all? Pets, gear, toys, etc.?

2) Invasions are now every 3 hours now?

ofc herbs and minerals in the world require you to have herbalism or mining.

Considering Medivh is still alive I highly doubt we will find his body...

They did make Medivh a vision before.
Medivh now is not around, but he did leave a Vision of himself in Karazhan, and then they did add him to other stuff.
I don't know if he is alive or not, but I know the lore is confusing to me, and they don't explain stuff good.

Medivh 'died' during Warcraft 1 when Khadgar and his band kill him.

He then shows up in Warcraft 3 to warn the humans and lead Thrall to Kalimdor and eventually departs because the world no longer needs him(I think).

He said he was joining the legends of the past at the very end (Think it's the Mount Hyjal cinematic).
My interpretation is that whatever magic Aerwynn used to bring him back lasted enough only for him to help Azeroth out against Archimonde, and now his spirit returned to wherever dead people in Azeroth go.
