I really hope the Karazhan dungeon won't be the raid tuned to 5 man. They did this with ZG and ZA and it was atrocious.

If they are just bringing back the raid as a 5 man they can keep it. Even the whole story would be a joke.

So please let it be a dungeon with 9 new bosses - although I have no issues with 2 or 3 revamped ones.

This is a bit late but ZA was the same bosses over, but only mostly. ZG every boss was 100% unique from how it worked in the 20 man version.

It has more bosses than several raid tiers, that's mega enough for me.
We don't know if it is reusing the Karazhan assets yet or is set underneath it (or in a new area).

They've definitely talked about patch content quite early before, but this is probably going to be the soonest we've known so much, and also the soonest we've ever had a PTR. A good sign, though I still don't quite trust their "no drought!" claims.

Chess Event is a boss/encounter because it drops loot like any other boss/encounter does.

No but they typically don't have a boss loot table.

If it drops the same amount of items, with the same item level and the same amount of gold as the other bosses, then sure. That's why Spine of Deathwing, even though it felt more like doing trash, was considered an actual boss. Bunch of random mobs that may have a chance of dropping a single epic item, though, are not.

Trash doesn't have guaranteed drop of multiple BoP Epics like Bosses do. Chess is a boss encounter just like Flame Leviathan, Malygos, First boss in HFC etc, its a Boss encounter but you don't defeat the boss thru other means. The actual boss we defeat in Chess is Echo of Medivh, instead of defeating him with steel and magic we defeat him in a Chess Match which got its inspiration from Harry Potter and Sorcerer's Stone.

In some place I am a little bit disappointed because I hoped for a completely new dungeon built from scratch related to a theme of one of the dungeons from the broken isles, maybe highmountain/stormheim but we are getting a small raid for stormheim so that's alright

Interesting thing. I like long dungeons such as Sunken Temple and Maraudon. This is gonna give me and my friends some nice challebging content.

Crypts is being used for artifact quests I think. All they did was mess around with the tiny entrance bit. Rest of stuff like the hall of upside down sinners and weird rooms are still there.

There already is another entrance. Fly up to the top of Kara and its in game now

On that topic, was anything new said about flying in Legion during any of the interviews or panels? (Sorry, I'd check myself, but I'm at work)
