though if i had my way, she wouldn't get a partner at all. so sick of every female character having to be on some guy's arm. it's ridiculous. sylvanas is fine on her own, to put her with anyone will only be a detriment to her character.

but anyway, i'm glad to hear he's rescued. can't wait to play it out myself, 12 more days.

the fact that Blizzard are even teasing the idea of a relationship for Sylvanas makes me facedesk... I like her to be more dark and independant, Blizzard seem to be making her care alot lately. considering how she was before it's a very quick character shift, how long before she turns into Casper? :P

I think it is not wrong to deal with the scourge before the alliance. Sylvanas would probably do the same under the similar situation. What makes Koltira a fool is what happened afterward.

After the scourge was defeated, Thassarian told Koltira that he needed to regroup, which suggests that the Alliance was in a worse shape than the Horde. And he also told Koltira directly that they would meet in the field again as they now served at different sides. Then a few days later, Thassarian attacked first. Koltira was caught in surprise since he thought they had made a "truce". And Horde only won because of Sylvanas's intervention.

So let us come to Koltira's problems:

First he could attack Alliance when they were weak and won a easy victory after the scourge was defeated, but he did not and let the best chance slipped away. Ok, I can try to understand him and say it is not good to attack your buddy right after fighting with the common enemy. Then at least he should understand the difference between ''cease fire" and "permanent truce" and make preparation for an Alliance attack. But again he did nothing and just sat there until Thassarian did his duty by attacking Horde.

That is why Koltira is a fool. Thassarian managed everything much better than him.

with him being a human, there is nothing that will ever make me be ok with him and sylvanas being a couple. i'm really sick of the human male/elf female pairing.

but it doesn't even matter if he's the one on her arm, it's still a detriment to her character. none of them can just be strong on their own, they gotta have that partner there the moment they get more focus in the story, and it's bullshit. romance detracts from fantasy anyway, but it can never just be the lone female hero, she's always gotta get with the guy.

Call me weird, but if I were to ship anyone I'd ship Lorthemar with Sylvanas. They have deep history, they flirt whenever they see each other or fight alongside each other (galakras in SOO) and Lorthemar isn't an incompetent dumbass. I like his character a lot although I do wish it was expanded on way more.

I'd ship those two if anything, but I'd rather her just stay solo, fits her character more.

Maybe it's just my opinion, but he always seemed to be her arm-candy, not the other way around. It's not like how Knaak did Vereesa where she was so taken with a human that she immediately went AWOL and subsequently quit her country for the guy after knowing him for like a day. Sylvanas is much stronger than Vereesa, and just seems to have been helping Nathanos out a little here and there, by letting him into the Farstriders, and refusing Kael'thas' order that he be removed, on the grounds that he was human. She didn't give up her lifelong dream just to be with a human, like Vereesa did.

She's his sugar-momma.


I personally like his new look, because it's much more threatening. The regular Forsaken look he had before didn't look threatening at all in that ugly brown/green leather pre-BC Farstrider clothes type stuff.

I enjoy Forsaken models when they're casters, or dreadguards and such, but not so much when they're supposed to be imposing strong guys, enough so to be called "champion".
