u can get transmog gear from invasions then (if u care), and sell all wod items on AH, also test the new transmog system and test your class.
also do all pre-event quests and broken shore

The armor drops actually can be warforged up to ilvl 720, it's just not especially common, so you still could get some upgrades

The gear that drops can be up to 720 ilvl, so it might still be an upgrade for you ex-raider.

Get used to your favorite class's changes, although this doesn't take long.

Yeah, basically test out different class / spec, find out what you like the most, do some dungeons , invasions and pvp to get used to the changes.

Currently I'm cheesing some characters to 100 with the ludicrous amount of EXP you get in the invasion events (before blizzard notices and that it sells 5 character boosts less now and nerfs it to the ground).

I'm giving what i believe is helpful advice. Maybe you think throwing countless hours away at a boring/old video game is productive or entertaining in some way, but i disagree.
