Normal Garrosh vs Normal Saurfang

Garrosh hasn't really achieved all that much. Thrall almost literally picked him up from the mud, as Garrosh was a whiny weakling in Nagrand. He grew during the Northrend campaign, but not enough to surpass either of the Saurfangs (see Tundra questline, also remember Saurfang the Younger was widely considered Warchief material... Garrosh was Thrall's Mr Backup after Wrathgate happened). Both Cairne and Baine bested him. Anduin the fucking human child survived being struck by him ;D He didn't even have the balls to call out and face Vol'Jin for his defiance, he sent a weakling assassin that we dispatched with haste ;]

All in all, pussy. He tasted true power for the first time when he drank da ol god juice, and got drunk on it like a teenager who managed to get his hands on booze for the first time.

Garrosh achieved so much like thrall would never achieve with his weak peacefull craps. If was not garrosh the horde would've be turned into miserable starving orcs and without resources race. So Garrosh take out of the mug Thrall and all the races of the horde he was the guy who managed to craft the Horde as a one strong well crafted faction. He builded much better orgrimmar with iron and made it look like a real orc city. Not to mention that he was die hard true Horde not like the other passive weaklings like Thrall and Baine and Voljin he was the true horde hero and he was the only true horde warchief. And this fucktards betrayed him and he got not choice but to turn against them thats why he decided to take the old god heart to built hes horde without weaklings in it!!!

Yep. So, so much. Three or four years from assuming power he managed to get Orgrimmar sacked and the Horde at the mercy of Varian, his silly son and the dreadlord chick. That's some prime achievement right there ;]

Also, are we talking about who could take whom in a 1 on 1 scuffle, or is this suddenly a Nazi of the Year contest about politics, because I'm honestly lost.

My point stands, without magic (elements, old gods, whatever shit) the 1v1 ladder is pretty much Cairne > Saurfang > Garry Boy > Thrall in an honest to goodness Mak'Gora with no shenanigans.

I've gotta say Garrosh sadly.
While Saurfang is an accomplished Warrior, he is old. Garrosh is also an accomplished Warrior and yet it is hard to say who is better in terms of marshal skill, it's also worth noting that Garrosh has a well known axe. I think people saying Saurfang are just saying out of their love of the character and dislike for Garrosh rather than being objective about the issue.

strangely, if you follow Garrosh from Wotlk to Mop, almost everyone beats him one way or another

Sylvanas outsmarts him (he wants Gilneas conquered and Forsaken used as fodde, but sylvanas gets Val'kyr, conquers for some time msot of Gilneas and avoids wiping out forsaken), Vol'Jin at first almsot leaves horde, than survives assassination attempt and overthrows him with the help of rest of the Horde and Alliance
Thrall vs Garrosh was strange one, it was between draw and Garrosh having upper hand (looking at preWOTLK event or comic side), also in the end Thrall defeated him, but used magics, before that, in SOO Thrall tried using elemental magic, but garrosh had already take elemental powesrs using Dark shamans.

Baine has tos ave Garorsh's ass from quillboar
in Blank Scroll, even Galllywix manages to fight Garrosh using his machine, but dies by accidental bullet
Varian totally fukes up Garrosh each time they meet in fight, in wolfheart, Varian manages disarm him also he is under goldrins blessing somehow

even Anduin manages destroy bell using mallet of harmony and ruin Garrosh's plans

Everyone say Garrosh because of the age difference? Remember his duel with Cairne? He had him beat (probably much older than Saurfang) and would've won if not for the poison. So Saurfang

Garrosh is younger than Saurfang and by that means is stronger,more agile and has more stamina due to age but that is all he has against Saurfang.

Saurfang is more wise, more clever, better strategist, more experienced in combat and better skill. Combine it with the fact that Garrosh is a hothead and can be manipulated easily to be angered and Saurfang is the clear winner.

In order for Garrosh to win he has to keep his head calm and prolong the fight so Saurfang can Tire but that cannot happen because he will get mad in the First minute.

Ye Yea i am sick of listening to pathethic liers like you Garrosh spank virian ass like a newborn baby also cairne accidently and with a lot of luck he managed to throw 2-3 hits then garosh fucked up him. Garrosh managed to destroy theramore isle which is great acomplishment While Virian stays at his stormwind Garrosh battles with his army all over pandaria and conquer most of the lands by himself not like Virian send some miserable soldiers that are getting destroyed by the horde.
