Please blizz, ban idiots who post 500 stacks of 1 of any herb, ore or cloth...
It's not so much of a problem they overload AH, not even ppl need to click 500 times to buy all mats they need, it's waiting for 10 minutes to pick up mats from mail...

It's just rude and should be banned...

Let's say herbs sell for 1-1.5g each... There are lot's of supply in diferent size of stacks... And then, here comes our retard, posting 500 of each herb in stacks of 1 for 75s.

And he do this every few days...

How would you deal with him?

my auto buy keybinding is shift+scroll wheel (up and down) so i just scroll away, as for ammount i've got addons making sure i dont buy too many.
honestly i dont see the problem, all i see it profit to be made from that guys mistake.
and i've also got an autolooter addon that makes sure i dont get DC'd from being afk so i just go do something else for 10 min while it loots everything.

id love to see something along the lines of the.... i believe it was guild wars 2 ah, where you could pick an item, pick a number of that item, and get it for the cheapest possible that the ah had at that time.

it greatly reduces the mass clutter, and makes shopping for specific amounts of a material easier.

Not so much an issue if you run an addon like Auctionator to quickly purchase things. But what I tend to do is ignore them. I only buy things in bulk. Stacks of 10 or higher.

I always sell normal mats/consumables in stacks of 5, its only the rare mats that i sell at 1 stack each.

Just use auctionator and stop whining, you can easily spam click to buy all the items from the same guy without doing anything else.

It's business, supply and demand (the demand for varying amounts of items); it's not rude. If you need 500 items then buy the bigger stacks, something like Auctionator works wonders for finding the best price per stack amount.

Not really. You will then waste time having to open all that mail. Waiting 30+ min to open mail is not fun. Since you can only open 50 mail every minute (can afk with an addon). Unless you don't afk and click reload after opening every 50 mail before the mail refreshes. Even then, it can take 30+ seconds and good luck if you don't have an SSD. Might as well not click reload since it will take the same amount as just waiting for the mail to refresh.

The other day someone posted well over 1500 pieces single stacks of ore and nearly 1000 single stacks of herbs on my server. That should not be allowed to happen. I don't mind buying all of it since it was cheap but it really slows down the auction house for everyone. I honestly don't know why people do this. Do they think it's fun to open 1500+ mail??? Not only has the buyer have to wait to open all that mail but the seller has to do the same thing. Makes no sense posting common items like ore and herbs one item at a time.

Yes, and wait for an hour or more to pick it up from mail.. I did not paid this game to stand next to mailbox for hours...

edit: Just to be clear, yes, i would buy that 500 true iron ores if i need them, no matter if they cost 50s or 5g each, but i think that posting them in stacks of 1 is just rude and disrespectfull.. Ok, do it once by mistake, but every few days it's just bad behavior...

Addons don't solve the problem. You still have the damn 1 minute mail refresh (~30 sec if you have a good connection and reload every time your mailbox empties). People simply shouldn't be allowed to post more than N auctions (any quantity) of an item where N is, let's say, 10.

So, you could post 10 x 200, or 10 x 1, but not 11 x 1 of an item. I could certainly live with that and I doubt that anyone would be harmed by that kind of restriction. Some people using the AH in a stupid/rude fashion might be annoyed, but that comes with the territory.

I think you're essentially complaining about nothing. As others mentioned, there are several add-ons to make this process much easier. Yes, you still have to wait for the mail timer and/or /reload, but there are addons that will automate that for you while you refill your drink or take a leak.
