Would you prefer Blizzard to work on the sequel to Warcraft or turn the Diablo universe into a theatrical feature film?

Overwatch animation film.
THE HORDE WILL ENDURE
THE HORDE IS STRONG!
The Warcraft series has more interesting lore, in my opinion. Diablo makes for fun slashem games, but the lore seems weak and not as fun / deep.
(don't get me wrong ... WoW/ Warcraft lore is now very terrible on convoluted ... BUT I think it makes for a better cinematic experience).

This would also be cool.
Warcraft sequel would be pretty cool, if they made a few adjustments that is ;p like teaching Travis how to properly speak English without that weird accent he used for no reason what-so-ever...
Warcraft lore is a bit more interesting than Diablo imo.
For a movie, easily Diablo. Could be so epic, and doubt they could fuck it up as much as they did with Warcraft.
If they made Overwatch into a feature film, it will be similar and repetitive animated to the shorts already out there. In a way, theyve been like a free feature film, being released in parts.
I think it could be more of a potential way later on, I think they should consider Diablo or Starcraft as their next approach.
Not a film, like 30-minute long episodes in a series. I think what they've done so far with the art style and story of the Overwatch shorts are brilliant, seriously. I am confident that if Blizzard made a 10 episode series of 30-45 min installments, it would be freakin awesome to watch!
I think that the main reason they seem repetitive is because they have to keep them so short, tbh.

Can't they do both? This is why they have seperate teams.
If i absolutely HAD to choose though, I'd probably go with Warcraft 4.
Blizzard have multiple teams on the multiple IPs they own, do you know that?
A series would work, there will be a point where it starts to get costly, these type of animations can go to $10 million + just at that duration. I don't mind how often they release these shorts, no matter how inconsistent, as long its quality over quantity.

No. They would wanna focus on one. Production $200 milion + promotion $100 million. Double that is too hectic.
Focusing on one = more quality
When they are at their lowest of 3,000,000 subscribers and still making $45,000,000 a month, that shouldn't be much of a problem.
Movies are great and all, but TV series are where it is really at. They keep a concurrent viewer base, tons of media hype and anticipation over a long period of time. And most importantly, Ten 30-minute episodes are a lot better than one 2 hour movie.

Between the two: Warcraft Sequel. I liked the movie and for what it was I thought it was great. I wasn't expecting an oscar winner.
Diablo would be good too but to me to do that lore justice it'd have to be rated R and Blizzard won't do that. The tone and setting of Diablo has gotten increasingly lighter from Diablo 1 to 3.

I would like to see more warcraft movies. A lich king movie would be amazing.
I come across a quiet river, that wonders through the trees.
I stare into its running waters and fall unto my knees.
In resignation to the forest, that's held me for so long.
I close my eyes and drift away into nature's evensong.
That is a absolutely a HUGE misconception. Coming from someone who works with Legendary Pictures
This is not my decision, I would love both, but this is Activision we're talking about.
Doesnt matter how financially successful they are; whether they can budget two blockbuster or not, these are still high stakes they consider other than cost. How will this affect their timeline on other productions?
We are not talking Disney Marvel, we are talking about a gaming company with little experience pumping out several blockbusters a year. They will not dedicated such large amount of their finance to these movies, especially seeing the turnout for Warcraft's success in Domestic Sales.

He's asking why not make both Diablo movie and Warcraft sequel. I'm saying its not a good idea to put both in production at the same time. And I started this thread on movies
