question about Thraxi's Tricksy Treads legendary

    Hello there

I tried to find an answer to my question but somehow I couldn't find someone asking it, its about the legendary rogue shoes Thraxi's Tricksy Treads ( Run Through deals increased damage equal to 50% of your increased movement speed.)
Do worgan Racial work with this ? (which i hope it doesn't because i don't want to play worgan) and in case the answer was yes is this legendary any good for outlaw,

it's supposed to be BiS afaik, and it does work on the worgen racial

so doesn't this make worgan race as a must for outlaw ? (by must i mean dps wise)

well it's an extra 20% run through damage every 2 minutes for 10 seconds, which is like 3 run throughs?

it comes out to less than 1% dps increase(obviously for necessary burst windows it's more but yeah) unless my math sucks

unless you sync it with CoTDB but you're already doing that with sprint

i mean yeah worgens are probably gonna be the best race for outlaw, but not by enough to make it mandatory.

Well...Not the best race for outlaw, but the best race for outlaw rogues IF they get that legendary piece.

Are we really that sure about this. I cant find any simulations using darkflight, but all the simulations so far points towards nelfs being the best outlaw rogues, and for good reason. They have a a passive 2% movementspeed(darkflight averages at 3,33) and remember movementspeed buffs such as sprint, darkflight and stampeding roar does not stack. Nelfs also has shadowmeld for another use of ambush, and with the artifact trait Hidden Blade is seems very potent.

well noone said you have to stack 'em
and generally speaking burst cooldowns are more valuable than constant dps

does the engineering speed boost (belt) also trigger the boots?

I am merely saying we shouldn't preach this as gospel. Sure cooldowns are generally stronger than passive dps, but mostly cause you can stack them, but its not that simple in this case.

Yes they do but they share a cooldown with potions and their movementspeed buff is nerfed in instances.

Would Hit and Run be the go to movement talent then? Since its a permanent +movement speed so a permanent buff to Run Through?

That's what the current sims are based on.

Thanks. I have no idea what is what with these legion sims. The WOD sims were much more accurate going into WOD launch.

simulationcraft does not have darkflight defined yet. in the code, the default actions for worgen outlaw sims do not call darkflight.

Thraxi's were just nerfed from 50% down to 20%. Greenskin's Waterlogged Wristcuffs buffed up from 300 to 400%, though.

There is a hidden increase to your chance of getting legendary that is useful to your character as you play and do world shit up to a certain point, 1 year in everyone wll have one or 2 of them easily, I got one from a emissary chest in beta only after 2 months. They mentioned this a few times.
