To elaborate on the second point regarding Alexander, the lore surrounding it is pretty meh compared to what there was in Coil during ARR.

It may seem superficial but i think the tone of Alex puts people off. The freezepop style music and FF6 steampunk theme is cool, but when they talked about "a primal thats a living castle" for Alexander i imagine most FF fans were expecting this kind of version of him instead:



Which tonally fits the art style of XIV more than the Alexander we got which feels and looks more like something you would see Trion put in Rift for the most part.

Maybe, but a bit harsh for us who don't play any other MMORPG. Most of the FC are simply "sleeping", logging now and then in, but it's mostly silence.

just 25 manjimutt medals to go. Got astrologian from 30-52 and after around 80k seals which paid for a new relic for my DRK job, not the worst grind in the game, but when theres less than 3200 of the 13 weapons mount worldwide it makes sense.

Finally, after procrastinating and slowly building up the gear needed, I now have most all of my ironworks gear, albeit most of its unmelted because I only want to put grade 5s in the guaranteed slots.

Now my conundrum is whether or not to make the other ilvl 170 off hands. I'm debating on whether to use the next 2 weeks of red scrips to get a soul so I can swap GSM to BSM for making most of those tools. I already have 4/8 of the ilvl 200 red script main hands, though, which are a pretty good match for the ironworks tools. At 11 cups after this weeks turn in, so I would have all of them done just in time for 3.4.

So ever since the patch i'm getting complete freezeframe lag in instances and only in instances. Is there a new connection error with the patch going on again? I feel like this has happened before.

No big deal if you don't raid savage.
Secondary stats are ridiculously weak.

All slots with V materia averages out a 3% increase in character power. The delta between IV and V is about 1%.
Spend 10mil to gain 1% char power? Nooope, el-cheapo IV materia it is (empty slots look ugly).

I'm aiming for grade 5s in the ironworks gear because 1. Devs stated it would be BiS for rest of the expansion and 2. I'm anticipating some sort of 4* specialist crafts either in 3.4 or 3.5.

I was late to crafting; was the 220 Eikon gear specialist only during 3.2?

Regardless, gonna stick to my current plan.
