I am wondering what the real world looks like and why their world is "fake". All that we have seen of it is that it is very red. I have a feeling the adults play a part in it as the tentacle lady said "they must stay asleep in the fake world", makes me think of the matrix.

That's kinda what it feels like, too. His chip is only partially broken so that could be part of why it looked so fucky.

This episode was so good and the story's coming together. I think I've been more excited for new episodes of this show the last two weeks than I was for anything else. If the animation and art were actually good, this show would probably have gotten bumped up to 8/10 for me after this week's episode.

I am wondering what these chips are for. If it was matrix style then they wouldn't have need for it. What makes it so they need these chips? why does getting the chip scanned by the Unkown (lighting up) means it has to be changed? Why does damaging it allow them to see another world?

Many questions, not enough answers as of yet!

I wanted to like IBO more than I did. I liked the beginning and end of the series well enough, but felt lost in the middle and I didn't feel much for the events that transpired. I wonder if it wouldn't be better if viewed in a shorter time frame, but I don't have the desire to rewatch it to find out. That said I will be checking out IBO S2 still, but I remain very reserved.

Konosuba - 6/10 (Fine)

Well that was a fine piece of junkfood anime. Wouldn't watch it again though.

That exactly sums up my sentiments. I got a few laughs out of it, but mostly thought it was puerile.
