Again, your unwillingness to educate yourself on the historical significance of something is almost impressive, in a very sad way. Black power was used to empower an oppressed people at a time when they did not have civil rights--legally, they weren't considered people, they just couldn't be owned by other people anymore. It's not "divisive" to use a term meant to empower you when outside forces are fighting tooth and nail to deny you the right to self-determination and equal treatment under the law. Unless you'd like to say you think those uppity black folks should have piped down and kept their heads down rather than trouble the white man with "divisive" slogans meant to encourage youth to organize and protest?
