Akame ga Kill 74 - Jesus that was over 50 pages long, and the art was amazing. I actually liked the fight in the anime, and I especially loved her cutting herself with her own sword to power up.

I was actually rather fond of that part as well. Despite it being a 'meh' series, it had some definite good points and ending with a solid fight was one.

As for WoW, I'm looking forward to the artifact quests and just wandering around with friends. Mine still play for the most part, although we all play far less than we used to. No more raiding, but plenty of other things to do. I can accept that.

I understand the criticisms but it was a hella entertaining show with some good fights. I didn't even really dislike the ending all that much, but then again I have a history with liking "bad" endings more than the endings of the manga they're based off of.

I have never read the manga or anything, but as you said it was simply entertaining. Basically I feel that if you wanted nothing out of it except an action series with a pinch of drama, you got it and it was better than the average offerings in that department.

English release of volumes 2 & 3 of Bakemonogatari novels both delayed by a month. Boo.

Started reading the DAYS manga last night, picking up from the latest episode...
The following chapters filled me with all the feels. Had a lot of the same experiences as the characters when losing in high school (damn football tournaments!) so it resonated quite well. There were almost man tears, I swear lol It served quite well for character development, though, I think. Got to learn more about a few of them, even Ubukata. And Sayuri-chan in chapter 36... perfect.

I also actually really love the comedy in Days, even though it's pretty standard. It just works quite well. Particularly with Mizuki and his jumping around or asking for someone to make the ball go FWOOOSH. Narukami also has pretty good comedy behind him. In many ways, he's just like Natsuki (although clearly a fantastic player lol). I think for Mizuki, it's just not how you would expect his character to be? Like, he feels like he should be the super serious guy all the time and when he breaks that expectation, it catches you off guard.

Yeah, the manga is pretty great, especially some of the comedy that didn't make the anime adaptation sadly enough.
