Slightly on topic here but also have a question re battlenet balance.

Can i use a portion of my battlenet balance and use my credit card to make up the difference for amount?

A split purchase if you will.

I currently have $10 battlenet balance only.
Those who do not stand with the Forsaken stand against them. And those who stand against the Forsaken will not stand long

Here is the one for the US https://us.battle.net/shop/en/produc...raft-game-time

and here for the EU https://eu.battle.net/shop/en/produc...raft-game-time

On checkout, proceed to select battle.net balance as payment method!

    If you don't trust links.
    Go to battle.net
Click Shop on the top left
    Click World of Warcraft
    Scroll down to Game Services
    Click on Game Time

I don't believe you can, but I have never tried.

You cannot split pay using balance and another form of payment. Their "system doesn't support it." They're "working on it being an option in the future." I've made a ticket a few weeks ago asking your exact question.

You can resub with PayPal, Battle.net Balance, WoW Tokens and now Google Wallet in addition to Credit Cards. You can't split payment for subs or otherwise though that is in the works for those who use a prepaid balance (B-Net).

...Good look dropping that link to the Prepaid options. You'd be surprised how many people don't know about that. I've decided to just buy two 180-day blocks of time so I'll be covered for roughly a year. Then just remember to add another 6 months when I have a month or two left. That way there's no recurring charge on my end.

...Someone bought me 30 days' time a few weeks ago so I could play this month but I plan to buy more time either this week or next month if things go as planned ^_^
...Ok, time to change the ol' Sig ^_^

This time I'll leave you the Links to 3 of my Wordpress Blogs: 1. Serene Adventure 2. Video Games 3. Anime Please subscribe if you like what you see. As a Bonus, I'll throw in my You Tube channel =D

Instead of split payment, can't you just add the remaining amount to your b.net balance and then make the payment entirely through that?

You can, but there is a waiting period to add funds into the account. I'm not exactly sure how long. I think it was 3 days?
