its called swinger club, , in this time it seems to be a specialised one to male gay, and is not banned anywhere in the normal world. its just like any private club, and this is club for having sex with different / gay / whatever persons. Stuff like this is forbidden in counties like iran (but still happens there), and many of those are not tied to any kind of prostitution, the typical demografic of such a club is couples, mostly older ones (think of 45+) looking for sex adventures to spice up their monotonous sex life.

It all depends on the concentration of the HCL. I had my fair share of acid burns in labs too. I kinda have to agree with you though, the concentration required for HCl to appear "soapy" like water based lube would be some heavy instant burn.

Does HCL even feel soapy in the first place? I'm pretty sure only the bases cause the fat on the skin to undergo saponification required for the slippery feeling. Normal aquatic solution of HCL isn't as bad as some other acids like H2O4 or HNO3. I mean the maximum aquatic solution is at 38% or 10M

As far as I remember from the chemistry classes, acids don't instantly burn but take a slight moment to start burning (had an incident where some drops of HNO3 got sprinkled on my skin but quick wash made it a non-issue), while alkalines burn in an instant.

i am a biologist, and the reason why acids are not as heavy, is because our body fluids are pretty good at buffering acids off to some degree. (our blood is even slightly alcalic so it acts as a buffer against acids) so for acid to get through skin and do dmg, it takes some time and you need higher quantitiy /activity of the acid.

If there's the perception that something may pose inherent health and welfare issues, the answer generally is to address and mitigate those issues rather than throw caution to the wind and ignore them.

It depends on the molar concentration. At lower concentration you wouldn't notice it for awhile until the skin starts to redden and blister. I've had a few incidents with hydrochloric acid and it was never an instant burn with the concentrations I worked with.

I thought it was a universal truth that just because there is something worse, it doesn't make the immediate situation better because you "compare" them like that.

TyrianFC already explained it in multiple posts in this thread. I didn't know about these either but now I do...

The ones you're referring to in this article are essentially are called Gay Saunas or Bathhouse or Sauna, and most of the big cities have them (perth, syd, melbourne, brisbane). The one this thread is referring to (Aarows I think) is mostly a Swingers/bi venue, but the real action happens at the big gay ones (Wet on Wellington, Body Line, Steamworks etc).

They are amazing. You walk around only wearing a towel and cruise for as much sex as you want. There can be anywhere from a handful to several hundred guys in the venue at once. You can see the full range from some of the extremely hottest guys you've ever seen in your life, to guys that are gross - it all depends on the time, day and venue.

Its like a private 'club' - but anyone can go - where you pay a small entry fee (eg 25 bucks) then can stay as long as you want and have as much sex as you want. They usually have different areas (Eg: A Sauna, Steamroom, Shower in one area - lots of rooms in another - another with maze / glory holes / themed rooms - and another with a lounge / smokers room / bar with cheap drinks / computer access etc). Large saunas are seriously huge, very nice inside - and more like a nice hotel, except you have sex whereever you want.

There are dozens of rooms in the sauna, where if you see someone you like you simply walk into one to have sex. They are usually quite small and with a plastic mat only - and they all have condoms and a lube dispenser on a wall for you to f$%k. (Because everyone is walking around naked or carrying just a towel, you wont be holding condoms as you walk around etc). Thats where this guy wouldve swapped the lube for acid.

A gay sauna is basically like a straight guys fantasy, (walk around in towels or naked, have as much sex as you want with whoever you want, in a safe and discreet venue that actively encourages you to doso) - except all the girls have gone missing and only guys are present, hahaha.

Its like an 'alternate world' that - if you're heterosexual and never heard of this thing before - you'll be a little shocked exists and surprised at what goes on.
