    I'm sorry, but I just found the irony of this to be too coincidental - and on MSNBC of all places (would not have surprised me if it had happened on Fox)

    Go to 1:00 an watch from there...

    Clinton is clearly just this all-powerful ruler of the world that controls everything. I've seen claims that she controls the media, controls how other countries act, can get away with crimes like it is nothing, and even kills numerous people that goes against her. That is borderline omnipresence! I guess god really is a woman. Trump had no chance from the beginning!

    In Jan 2008, a crane on a Trump construction site dropped a worker forty stories to his death. That same crane, operated by that same construction company, had received two citations for high risk violations just three months before. And the company had eleven violations before they were even hired. And Trump read the contracts! He knew who he was hiring! Or he didn't care, which is arguably worse, for someone who prides themselves on his building.

    So even if you buy that Clinton's some kind of scheming mass murderer -- which is still laughable -- even then, she only kills people in her way. Trump intentionally hired a company known for safety violations, who got a safety violation on his site, didn't fire them, and then that safety violation killed someone working for him. So even if I were to buy these accusations about Clinton, which are bullshit of course, I'd still feel safer with her than Trump!

    (Obviously, I don't feel Trump is a murderer. He just underpaid until somebody literally died from it.)
    Fascinating...

    Did you look at the safety records for the other companies that could have provided a crane? Aka how do you know that wasn't the best safety record company?

    There is also a very small pool of cranes capable of that work, have you verified that another company with a crane not being used, was available to do the job that would meet the building permit schedules (government dictates when/where/how/what you can build)?

    You do understand they have to be licensed by the city to operate. AKA they are vetted by government.

    Further, wouldn't the proper place to lay blame be at the feet of the safety board that allowed this company to continue to operate?

    Folks like you tend to run on emotions and therefore put together horrible arguments. It baffles me that you can not see that crane company as acting under the permission of a government and continued to be allowed to operate by that same government despite the safety violations. You seem to be a big government person, so why is it you wish to blame Trump for the failures of big government.

    That you then try to use this as a comparison to Hillary, would be hilarious if it wasn't such a sad statement on how many people can no longer critically think.

    You are either really naive or willfully blind to how powerful HRC and the amount of pull she has. Or did you not bother to really read any of the Wikileaks emails? Hell you even have Reps from the Major media outlets openly saying they are in the bag for Clinton. She is not a stupid woman. Shrewd, ruthless and amoral yes.

    The Clinton apologists on this forum really are rather sad. They dont care if she has committed any crimes. They dont care her husband is a scum bag POS rapist. They scrutinze every little thing Trump says or does, but when the same is applied toward HRC, they go fucking apeshit to belittle you and deflect.

    Oh I know she is powerful, she has a kill list and never gets arrested!!! Trump is just doomed, no one could beat someone as powerful as her.

    Which ones in particular are you talking about? I've seen a few handfuls and the "worst" I've seen are emails from the Foundation asking things of the State Department that were either ignored by the State Department (never responded to) or were not granted (except in the case of the meeting with that Saudi(?) prince that Hillary already had a scheduled meeting with). For all the fanfare the info dump received I don't think I saw anything that was actually damning in any way.

    Like whom? I've not seen anything like that, so I'm quite curious.

    Of course not, no point. Trump was doing his usual job of cutting costs by hiring someone with proven safety issues, chose not to fire them when they had yet mjore proven safety issues under his direct employ, and someone died on his site because of this. All of which are matters of public record. But Trump didn't push the guy or anything. Had he not hired them, that guy probably would have died somewhere else. Trump wasn't even sued, and people sue his ass all the time. And win!

    My overall point remains, however. The Clinton Body Count conspiracy theory remains debunked tinfoil-hat nonsense. Connecting people to people's deaths isn't as simple as saying "so and so died, it must be XXX's fault", and even if it was, Trump's still more dangerous because he'd be indiscriminately killing people, whereas Clinton only goes after traitors. Which, again, neither of them actually do.

    Colorado business coalition reactivates to fight “economically damaging” oil and gas initiatives

    Coloradans for Responsible Reform, a battle-hardened business coalition, is mobilizing to help the state’s petroleum industry fend off three ballot initiatives that target oil and gas development in the state.

    “We will raise what we need to raise to be successful,” said Kelly Brough, president and CEO of the Denver Metro Chamber of Commerce, and co-chair of the effort.

    Brough expressed a mix of resolve and frustration that the group, first assembled in 1994, must redeploy to fight what it considers ill-conceived and economically damaging initiatives trying to become part of the Colorado constitution.

    One way to think of the CFRR is as the political equivalent of a tested military reserve unit that the chamber calls into action when it believes business interests in the state face a serious threat.

    But the chamber at the same time was activating CFRR, which back in 2014 received $2.4 million from the American Petroleum Institute, the industry’s largest trade group, to fight anti-fracking ballot initiatives.

    While they appear to have the upper hand in fundraising, opponents of the measures are taking nothing for granted given the volatile political climate and the populist bent in the presidential race, which will dominate the November election.

    “We don’t want to take any chances,” CRFF spokesman Dan Hopkins said. “It is an unpredictable year.”

    Along with Brough, former Interior Secretary Ken Salazar; Greeley mayor Tom Norton; former Denver mayor Wellington Webb; and Grand Junction Chamber of Commerce president and CEO Diane Schwenke will lead the CFRR campaign.

    Oh NO! I guess that Ken Salazar guy, along with his gusto for TPP also is big on fracking. I wonder why Hillary tapped him to put together her new white house? I wonder why she always surrounds herself with people whose positions are different than the ones she conveniently took up during the primary?

    Brit Hume believes something negative about the Clintons? No. Fucking. Way.

    So there's an allegation or rape, and Brit Hume believes it, and that's enough for you to treat it as a fact?

    With his history of sexual harassment of women and treatment of women, the fact that her story never changed ( this video is from the 90s) yeah I am inclined to believe it. Are you saying this woman is a liar? What has she personally gained from this after all these years?

    Eileen Wellstone, 19-year-old English woman who said Clinton sexually assaulted her after she met him at a pub near the Oxford where the future President was a student in 1969. A retired State Department employee, who asked not to be identified, confirmed that he spoke with the family of the girl and filed a report with his superiors. Clinton admitted having sex with the girl, but claimed it was consensual. The victim's family declined to pursue the case;
    In 1972, a 22-year-old woman told campus police at Yale University that she was sexually assaulted by Clinton, a law student at the college. No charges were filed, but retired campus policemen contacted by Capitol Hill Blue confirmed the incident. The woman, tracked down by Capitol Hill Blue last week, confirmed the incident, but declined to discuss it further and would not give permission to use her name;
    In 1974, a female student at the University of Arkansas complained that then-law school instructor Bill Clinton tried to prevent her from leaving his office during a conference. She said he groped her and forced his hand inside her blouse. She complained to her faculty advisor who confronted Clinton, but Clinton claimed the student ''came on'' to him. The student left the school shortly after the incident. Reached at her home in Texas, the former student confirmed the incident, but declined to go on the record with her account. Several former students at the University have confirmed the incident in confidential interviews and said there were other reports of Clinton attempting to force himself on female students;
    Broaddrick, a volunteer in Clinton's gubernatorial campaign, said he raped her in 1978. Mrs. Broaddrick suffered a bruised and torn lip, which she said she suffered when Clinton bit her during the rape;
    From 1978-1980, during Clinton's first term as governor of Arkansas, state troopers assigned to protect the governor were aware of at least seven complaints from women who said Clinton forced, or attempted to force, himself on them sexually. One retired state trooper said in an interview that the common joke among those assigned to protect Clinton was "who's next?". One former state trooper said other troopers would often escort women to the governor's hotel room after political events, often more than one an evening;
    Carolyn Moffet, a legal secretary in Little Rock in 1979, said she met then-governor Clinton at a political fundraiser and shortly thereafter received an invitation to meet the governor in his hotel room. "I was escorted there by a state trooper. When I went in, he was sitting on a couch, wearing only an undershirt. He pointed at his penis and told me to suck it. I told him I didn't even do that for my boyfriend and he got mad, grabbed my head and shoved it into his lap. I pulled away from him and ran out of the room."
    Elizabeth Ward, the Miss Arkansas who won the Miss America crown in 1982, told friends she was forced by Clinton to have sex with him shortly after she won her state crown. Last year, Ward, who is now married with the last name of Gracen (from her first marriage), told an interviewer she did have sex with Clinton but said it was consensual. Close friends of Ward, however, say she still maintains privately that Clinton forced himself on her.
    Paula Corbin, an Arkansas state worker, filed a sexual harassment case against Clinton after an encounter in a Little Rock hotel room where the then-governor exposed himself and demanded oral sex. Clinton settled the case with Jones recently with an $850,000 cash payment.
    Sandra Allen James, a former Washington, DC, political fundraiser says Presidential candidate-to-be Clinton invited her to his hotel room during a political trip to the nation's capital in 1991, pinned her against the wall and stuck his hand up her dress. She says she screamed loud enough for the Arkansas State Trooper stationed outside the hotel suite to bang on the door and ask if everything was all right, at which point Clinton released her and she fled the room. When she reported the incident to her boss, he advised her to keep her mouth shut if she wanted to keep working. Miss James has since married and left Washington. Reached at her home last week, the former Miss James said she later learned that other women suffered the same fate at Clinton's hands when he was in Washington during his Presidential run.
    Christy Zercher, a flight attendant on Clinton's leased campaign plane in 1992, says Presidential candidate Clinton exposed himself to her, grabbed her breasts and made explicit remarks about oral sex. A video shot on board the plane by ABC News shows an obviously inebriated Clinton with his hand between another young flight attendant's legs. Zercher said later in an interview that White House attorney Bruce Lindsey tried to pressure her into not going public about the assault.
    Kathleen Willey, a White House volunteer, reported that Clinton grabbed her, fondled her breast and pressed her hand against his genitals during an Oval Office meeting in November, 1993. Willey, who told her story in a 60 Minutes interview, became a target of a White House-directed smear campaign after she went public.

    I thought people on this forum were heavily against convicting people of crimes based on allegations, especially rape. Did the Cosby threads lie to me?

    No, we wouldn't. We'd run her out of public office. But she hasn't, and that's what people keep forgetting. She hasn't done anything criminal - and people continue to ignore that basic fact.
