    Big Frog at my door

The entrance to my apartment always has an uninvited guest.

Every time I get home from work or from whatever i'm doing, there's a big ass frog chilling at the front of my doorstep. I can't figure out why it's there for the life of me.

Another thing is, it's freaking huge. I'm surprised that no pet cats or Gartner snakes have gotten it yet. It's almost like it wants to come inside for some reason.

It's lucky i'm going through a Chrono Trigger Nostalgia phase or I would've done something by now. Either way, I can't find any convincing explantion for it always hanging around on the internet. I thought i'd try here.

    Ideas?

    Could be worse.

No clue. But hey, its not causing any problems or anything, right? So I say name it, and let it go about its business.

    That's just it though.

I don't like always having to sidestep him to avoid stepping on him. If I step on him, it'll get crud on my shoes for work or my Js to the bar.

It's a lose lose for me, and I already have a tendency to doze off while walking.

I'm going to step on him eventually, and it'll suck for both of us.

Let him chill imo. The world needs more frogs.

Frogs eat all the things that spiders do, but aren't spiders. That means they eat mosquitoes. That means they eat flies. They eat silver fish too I think, but even if they don't we get to enjoy the added benefit of frogs not being spiders.

If we get more frogs then there won't be any conceivable need for spiders, and we can finally eradicate the species just as God intended.

Reminds me of an incident with a caterpillar a few months ago. Me and my brother we building a new shed in my backyard and there was this big brown caterpillar hanging around. After a few hours of work, we kind of forgot to watch out for him and my brother put down the mallet he was using on a one of the shelves. I found out a short while later, when I was cleaning up, that he had put it right on the caterpillar. R.I.P. brown caterpillar.

Frogs are the best! I live in a ruralish area so we have a lot of them that end up in our pool, which I rescue and put into our pond instead.

Which is probably what you should do. Relocate into a more suitable habitat instead of accidental squish.

Been a long time since I did Windowpane. Miss it.

Don't fear the frog. Talk to the frog. The frog is your friend.

The entrance to my apartment has this big huge fucking light, and tons and tons of bugs swarm that area (June bugs, huge beetles, countless number of moths) and there's always like 3 to 4 large frogs just chilling there enjoying the food. Since the frogs have came, the amount of bugs flying around has definitely thinned down. Let him do his job, you'll thank him later. :>
