Fury of the Illidari is a huge letdown

Havoc artefact weapon skill is such a disappointment. Atleast glaives could spin around you, like Immolation aura, so you could actually hit people in PvP. But right now FotI is literally Concecration. Seriously?

Retri Paladin weapon skill - huge damage (counting 6 sec dot) AND IT GIVES YOU 5 HOLY POWER. That's huge.

Fire Mage weapon skill - instant crit spell. For Hotstreaks. Also huge.

And we get effin concecration with one minute cd...

It deals massive AE dmg and, with the goldtrait, has an explosion at the end for 60% of all dmg it does.
Also you can jump back with Vengeful Retreat and leave your glaives behind. VR is not on the gcd

For PvP:
It's quite hard to see, has a good range and very short duration.
Maybe use Stuns to let it hit completely?

Given your post, you seem to discover an abitily that has been in every guide, database etc for like 10 months so I wonder : you were saving yourself the surprise (ie not do any research or any maths) but a few hours after you have access to it you know it's a terrible ability ? That doesn't sound very rigorous.

Comparing abilities one by one is a terrible idea. You can maybe compare the entire toolkit for similar roles if that leads to a point, but saying "Hey [classe]'s X ability is more fun than our Y" doesn't say much. (I mean it's cool, you're obviously entitled to like or not certain aspect of the class, but without at least some suggestion, I'm not sure it's worth creating a topic. :/ )

Arms Warrior one sucks too, it's nbd though - it doesn't ruin the class for me. DH should be the same.

Legion doesn't "sucks". Seems like you are not in the MMO mood anymore and you were giving a chance to legion to bring back this spark you lost. Trust me, after this point there's nothing more rewarding than playing casually after many years of pro gaming. real carreer >= personal social life > video game.

Fury of the Illidary is considered to be one of the strongest artifact abilities in the game, in both PvE and PvP environements. Bordering the troll thread in here. I'm leaving it open for a little while to see if something constructive can come out of it, although my hopes are not too high.

Visually it's very anemic, but as a spell it's pretty fucking strong.

You want to be underwhelmed by an artifact spell? Go look at frost DK artifact, it's a passive low damage proc with garbage animations.

Its really powerful. Not sure DH needed another AOE, but its a good one. My only complaint is I think floating weapons and orbit abilities are both dumb looking, but thats a matter of aesthetic taste.
