Britton Colquitt release, was offered a 3 year extension but turned it down because of it having no guaranteed money. He was one of the higher paid punters and took a pay cut last year too. Understand why he did not want to again, hopefully someone else picks him up. Sanchez and Ronnie Hillman are both still on the roster as of the 75 player cut. Garret Graham also went on the IR, so that leaves John Phillips as Kubiaks old white guy tight end for this year most likely.
Colquitt was the longest tenured Bronco, and I think the last guy on a contract Elway did not do. Demaryus Thomas now holds that title, and I think he is the only McDaniels draft pick left as well.
The Bengals cut Brandon Tate....
No way.
Well guys, it was fun. I'm sure i'm going to die due to some Final Destination level shit tonight.
NOOOOOOOOOOOOO Bridgewater :c #Minnesotaisthenewcleveland
Most likely the wisest Enhancement Shaman.
Full ACL tear and "other structural damage" https://twitter.com/RapSheet/status/770776969432670208
Yeah, I just read the leg injury was so bad he had to be sedated. Whether it was true or not, who knows. But damn, that is rough for him and Minnesota.
I don't wish those sorts of injuries on anyone, but this helps the Lions out massively this year. The Vikings defence will still be lethal and the run game first class, so I don't expect a massive drop off, but going against Teddy versus Shaun Hill or anyone else they try and get in is a no brainer for me, regardless of the whether Bridgewater is a good quarterback or not.
Jesus fuck that's a horrible one. Good luck to him in recovery, appparently Vikings players threw up at the sight of it.
Shame really, he was due a good third year.
