Anyone else going insane trying to find Thunderfury?

I've literally spent more time trying to find the hidden artifact apperance than actually gearing/grinding lol. I need that skin so so badly!
Not sure if I'm missing anything.
I tried to get a hint from blizzard but all I got was this.

Unfortunatly, since it is a secret item, there isn't much I can tell you.

All I can tell you is that there are no known bugs and that all is working properly.

While I understand how hard it can be when you're trying to solve a puzzle and can't find that last piece, I cannot guide you to it.

Same with the sub one, the Satchel of Keys are apparently "on a pillar in the Vault"... Like, well, everyone keeps saying that but I can't see them anywhere, no one has a screenshot anywhere of them and there's no comments on it. A Warrior friend of mine is having the same issue, but he has screenshots as a reference from Beta - I just think some of them aren't in-game yet honestly. I've seen the Shaman one drop from Eye of Azshara otherwise I'd say all of them.

On a side-note: Does anyone know if you can get the hidden artifact for, say, Assassination, and then that unlocks the Hidden requirement for the likes of Outlaw so we can progress for the Thunderfury?

I don't think that's how it works unfortunatly
Also I'm abit bummed about the "chinese guy" who "looted" the right binding of the windseeker, you'd think he would take screenshots and stuff but there's nothing to prove that he actually got the item. :/

Keys are a possible reward from the weekly "Vault Pass" you turn in to Marin. They are on the long wall, near the entrance to the vault room, hanging on one of the pillars. They don't spawn every week.

It changes everyday from what I've seen. I got a coin and got it on the first try later I got one from a mission and talked to him but didn't take anything every day there were different choices on what I could get.

I remember them saying (I think during a Q and A) that some of that stuff wasn't implemented in game yet and was destined for future patches---theres a hidden one for assas too??

Do you have to have gotten the assas artifact to see the keys ever?

Here are my thoughts (and it assumes the drop from neltharian's lair was glitch/lie)

Somewhere around the world (maybe a sunken ship?) could require the Detection skill which is learned from a tome

Could require Boon of the Nether to get drop

Raid drop

Im personally going to swim some costal seas and see what I find.

As far as the Subtlety Hidden appearance goes - I have it.

I lucked out and got a Vault ticket almost immediately, took the keys, and even though I only got 3 chest keys on my second run it was in the third chest.

As far as thunderfury goes - I would think if it was a drop as the chinese player said at least one more person would have found it by now.

Outlaw - we have this bribe skill. I'm currently trying to bribe various NPCs related to the Windlord. You can bribe the humanoid dragon flying around that one area of Uldum but I don't think it does anything, currently I'm in Lost City of the Tol'Vir waiting for the 30 minute cd to expire. Gonna try bribing Augh (since he's a tricky Rogueish character) - and then the second to last boss.

People always talk casually about taking those keys, personally i've used a vault ticket and (5!) Noggenfogger coins, only getting same useless junk tho.. (Except i got the toy ofc)

Anyone got the Assassination one yet? It says on wowhead that it is from the random boss spawns in the underbelly but when i checked the info it was from the beta - The comments from live are all complains about how long people have farmed and are yet to find it.

My best theory so far is that the bindings are drops from last boss in mythic neltharian's lair, and from last boss in eye of azshara - the basis is that both Wrath of Azshara and neltharian's lair are elemental-type bosses/instances, and TF is an elemental's weapon, sticking with the theme here.

Mythic only drops of course, which may explain the lack so far.

I may be wrong though.

I could loot the keys from the uncrowned vault indefinitely.
i looted like 20 keys until i tried to loot something else, and then i couldn't loot anymore.

luckily i only needed one.

That bug has been around a long time, since early beta at the least. You can loot them essentially forever until you leave/get bored.

This just occured for me also. Actually I looted 3 keys before but thought it was intended, this time I looted 30 keys so hopefully that's enough to get it. How are you guys running the instance? I'm making a round of the first room and then going for a couple of big chests in second outdoor room. Is it better to run to the end?

edit: got them after 10 runs and maybe 30 chests.

Was your loot spec Subtelty when you got it? Im curious if we can get another specs weapon if we're not in that spec/our loot spec isn't that spec.
