Maybe a hint for the next expansion, like the sunwalker were hinted.
Would make sense with the whole "army of the light" and Elune finally shown as a being of the light (she "forged" the Naaru).When googling 4 letters is asking too much fact-checking.

I don't see any reason that any race that can be priests couldn't also be paladins.

Priestesses of Elune have always been closer to Paladins than priests imo. I'd be all for night elf Paladins.

Have always wanted one tbh, I dont see why they cant be, sure they holy light to them is different to a human or a dwarf for example but then they made tauren paladins which believe in An'she who is a druidic ancient..correct me if I am wrong.

Some of the original paladins of the Silver Hand were initially priests (like Turalyon), so I don't see why not.
