That USC guy stomping on that Bama guys junk wasn't cool. Glad he got ejected and should face team punishment too because that was intentional

Holy shit, I get home from work, and it's clear the quarterback issue isn't an issue. Bama is wrecking USC's shit.

    - - - Updated - - -

Is Crissi ok? TCU barely staying ahead of...South Dakota St.?

Texas A&M beating UCLA seems like an upset. Wisconsin over LSU, that's a big one.

yeah Im ok. It was a more interesting game than USC ALabama (post 1st quarter) anyways

This is going to be a rough transition year for TCU, since we lost ALL our D and O stars the last 2 years to graduation / NFL draft. At least we can apparantly still score like a madman. I predict about 4-5 losses.

Holy shit. Got home in time for overtime. An extra point blocked and returned for two points to cause overtime. I missed a great game. Stupid work.

Texas is so much improved and was not expected to do this well. This is an amazing game win or lose

Fun fact: Bunchele first freshman QB to start since Bobby lane in 1944 for Texas

I don't know who this Swoops guy is, but he just ran through a tackler and left him staying on the ground.

Oh, also Texas takes the win. I assume it's a massive win, especially after Notre Dame embarrassed them last time.

Swoops is their backup (former starter prior to Bunchele) QB who also doubles as a RB. Call him the 18 wheeler because he's so huge he tends to muscle through like you saw.

Swooooooooops! True team player and he and Bunchele are thus games MVP!

Such a pleasing opening weekend, it'd be wonderful if Ole Miss can handle business tonight.

Old Miss is running out of defensive backs.

But it's ok because Florida St. can't stop stop Ole Miss's offense.

Lots of teams are trying to reload after the last couple of years. Most teams outside of Alabama kind of have an up and down swing. Miss. St., Auburn, Arkansas, Vandy, Missouri, and Kentucky ( aren't they always? )are down atm. I think its pretty much a one horse race this year. Still trying to figure out why LSU and Tennessee were ranked that high to begin with. LSU still doesn't have a QB, and the Vols haven't done anything but be Average for the last several years and I didn't see them gain enough to be much more than that.

Arkansas, which is my team, won, but I can't say I felt good about it.

Hardest game in my life to watch, ND vs Texas. I hate ND, but I hate Texas with a passion. Its like trying to root for Hitler or Stalin.

I'm just kicked back grinning for now at how pretty much none of the experts gave UGA a snowball's chance in hell at winning the SEC East, yet how quickly that tune has changed after a single week. Still plenty of season left to go, though.

gotta say, that comeback by Florida state was epic.

and coaches / AP polls are out, for what its worth. Im a Texas fan, but Im not sure how we leaped all the way to 11 form unranked xD

They were a beast. It was a win-win for me - USC beating Bama means more props for Pac-12. Bama beating USC means USC loses.

Beating ND was a nice move. I can handle their move to 11 just for that.

Oregon had a relatively tough time against an almost worthless opponent. We'll see how they shake out - entire Offensive Line is Redshirts - FUN!

Well, look at the East. It sucks. I love my Gators, but they haven't proven they remember that offense is a part of the game yet, and they lost to much good on defense. That's the only real competition for Georgia.

That was me a couple years ago with Bama vs ND in the champ game. Everyone I know aside from one person HATES Bama, so being the only person rooting loudly for them was uncomfortable. I hate ND more than I hate Clinton and Eminem and the Steelers combined. It was Soooooooooooo good watching ND get smashed. I didn't feel dirty at all.
